Chapter 13: Path to Eternal Torment

AT MIDNIGHT, I was lying in bed waiting to be visited by drowsiness, but I couldn’t sleep no matter what I did. I rolled over on my bed and counted the sheep in my mind just to fall asleep, but my mind was still wide awake.

My stomach boils with hunger, and I am chilling with coldness. “Mom and dad didn’t give me foods to eat,” I murmured to myself.

“I’m hungry.” I touched my stomach and punched it several times, as if it would relieve my hunger when I did that.

Mom had cooked fried chicken earlier, so I immediately left my room to go down and eat, but when I reached the kitchen, I had received none of the meal, and the rice in the rice cooker had taken off.

There are only chicken bones on the table and burnt rice.

To make matters worst, after they ate, I was the one who washed the dishes and cleaned up in our living room because there was a lot of clutter, Davin’s toys
