CHAPTER 17: Kira - The Protector
Kira doesn’t take the light often since she feels like their system is safe, however there are times that she switches with Kyla especially when she feels like she is starting to think of what has happened to her before. She always feels worried because she was not able to absorb all the bad memories from Kyla, and that is the main reason Kyla tends to hurt herself.
She wanted to know how Jaymee would react when they switched. Not all people would be accepting of their situation and she cannot just watch without doing anything. She didn’t know Kyla would react that way when she heard about Jaymee’s decision. She must have felt betrayed when she heard of his decision and took the light, not sure though what she was planning to do before another unexpected situation happened.

Jaymee did not wake Kyla up as she looked really tired and that she needed a really good night sleep. He was able to carry her to her room without any difficulty.
