Keanna saw Kira and Kyla at the shore after work. They seemed to be having a serious conversation. She could almost imagine how Kyla felt right now as she had been “asleep” for long enough to be updated about what is happening with them. She had some kind of amnesia when she woke up and she couldn’t understand what was happening to her at first. As she continues being pushed back once in a while when someone takes over the light, she is able to remember that they are a system.
She works as an actress and she is used to seeing a lot of people almost everyday. She is fond of being with people and they see her as an easy going person that could always smile at something. Upon seeing how Kyla reacted to the guy who approached him reminded her why she needed them.
Keanna was the most patient person and
Kira doesn’t take the light often since she feels like their system is safe, however there are times that she switches with Kyla especially when she feels like she is starting to think of what has happened to her before. She always feels worried because she was not able to absorb all the bad memories from Kyla, and that is the main reason Kyla tends to hurt herself. She wanted to know how Jaymee would react when they switched. Not all people would be accepting of their situation and she cannot just watch without doing anything. She didn’t know Kyla would react that way when she heard about Jaymee’s decision. She must have felt betrayed when she heard of his decision and took the light, not sure though what she was planning to do before another unexpected situation happened. She took Kyla to her room, she had a
Kaia woke up early, she prepared some breakfast and seeing the time, she knew Jaymee must still be home. They seldom eat at home so she wanted to make sure that they are able to at least have breakfast together. Especially now that she learned how important Jaymee was to Kyla. She chose oatmeal with fresh fruits for her and pancake with eggs for Jaymee. She also likes to have coffee, of course. She knocked on Jaymee’s door as she finished preparing their breakfast.“Jaymee, breakfast is ready.” she heard rustling of covers and she shook her head. “He must have just woken up.”Jaymee walked out of his room and went straight to the bathroom. She smiled as she saw how he looked. She must admit how good lookin
He started driving as soon as he made sure that Kaia was okay beside her. She seemed comfortable in her seat when she suddenly reacted as if she heard something really loud. He is not looking at her but he could see her reactions in his peripheral view. He has been so adept at her condition that without intending to do it, he seemed to always check her reaction. He knew right away that she had switched when he saw how she reacted upon seeing him beside her. He could have stopped if there wasn’t any car behind them but he didn’t want her to feel more uncomfortable than she already is. “Hmm, am I still with Kaia?” He asked without looking at her. He did not see the look on her face when she answered. “Kyla.” “Oh, uhm, how are you?” He a
Kyla is getting anxious with the way people are looking at them. She is not really sure who they are looking at but she always catches people’s eyes staring at them. It’s starting to make her really anxious, she couldn’t help her knees from shaking. She is not used to being with a lot of people and this is when someone else fronts for them. She is starting to hear the loud ringing in her ears when she feels someone hold her hand. She had dissociated and when she looked at whoever was holding her hand, he saw Jaymee.“Hi Jaymee!” She greeted him with a smile.Jaymee seemed to have been taken aback with the smile. He knew in an instant that he was not with Kyla anymore when her knees had stopped shaking. He frowned his brows as if asking her who she was.
Jaymee left Kira for a while to check out something else. They are almost done and she was looking for some nice organizers. While shopping with her, he realized that Kira seems to be younger in age, she’s like a teenager, the designs she has chosen were like for teenagers, good thing she did not insist on him taking them.He was already walking towards her when someone approached Kira. He doesn’t know the man. If it was one of Kaia’s colleagues, he must have seen him before but he couldn’t recognize him.He saw Kira’s reactions from afar, although she was sitting on her ankle, she was holding her head as if something was hurting her. He hurriedly walked towards her, he saw how her reaction changed before she stood up. She must have seen him as he saw recognition in her eyes although it was some sort of a surpri
Jaymee was startled when Keanna sat back down with a loud thud, her expression saying that she had switched again. He stopped and waited for them to be at ease. Then she looked at him and smiled awkwardly. When she saw her cardigan pulled up to her elbow, she pulled them down again to her wrists. Her stance had changed from a confident woman to a shy one. He couldn’t determine who this personality is. Kaia was confident as well as Keanna, Kira was almost the same and could be fierce at times, same with Kyla. “Hmm, I’m Jaymee, your name?” “It’s Kyla.” He was surprised to see a different Kyla in front of him, she does not look like the Kyla he knows. “I’m sorry, are there two Kylas?” She shook her h
Jaymee did not wake Kyla up as she looked really tired and that she needed a really good night sleep. He was able to carry her to her room without any difficulty. Difficulty in a way that she didn’t wake up as another personality, she didn’t stir at all. He looked at her one more time before he left the room. One look at the kitchen and he knew he still had to make sure everything was well before he could go to bed. He just made sure that the things they’ve bought are organized. This was one thing she liked about Kaia, she is a very organized person and he didn’t have any issues living with her, plus she cooks well, he thought. He went to his room afterward and lay on his bed but his mind went to the other room. He knows that dissociative identity disorder does happen to people who have had traumatic experiences. He actually star
She could still feel her anger when she reached the house. She would have gone somewhere if not for the guy who kept bugging her after the fight she had with the woman. “That woman didn’t have any manners.” she kept on muttering. “That really hurts, I should’ve just punched her instead of pulling her hair.” She was still muttering when she opened the door and was surprised to see Jaymee sitting on the couch. “Don’t tell me you’re waiting for me?” she asked as she went to the kitchen and opened the can of beer she bought. “Want some?” “Where have you been?” “Oh, come on!” She exasperatedly sat on one of the stools at the kitchen. “Are you my father? Didn’t I tell you we shouldn't be minding each other’s business?”
