Chapter 5. A quite nice flirting technique

Katie of course felt humiliated, angrily scolding him:

“Hey, young man, if you like me, you shouldn't do things that make people feel offensive. You’re too young, not as experienced as me so of course I don’t feel the same as you do. Now, could you give my bag back?”

“Sorry if I’ve left rather a bad impression on you, senior. But just now, you seem to have taken the wrong stuff from me.”

Katie did not do anything. She leaned against the railing, her voice softening, and asked the other boy:

“Taken the wrong stuff? Just check it out then. If it's yours, feel free to take it back.”

Thankfully, going to the library today, Katie did not bring anything bizarre, or could not be seen by others. In her bag there was only a purse, a phone, two books, several pens, accompanied by a wristwatch. That was why she was not afraid to let him search inside.

"So be it?"

Yet those words were the only thing that came out of the boy’s mouth.

"Of course." Katie replied firmly.
