Lunch

Shailene's POV

This past few days, I've been thinking of what will be our issue in our marriage while my mom keeps telling me that I really need to make him fall in love in me. I know what kind of guy he is, he's a guy who's really workaholic but always seen in bar with friends. Playing with girls.

"This is your new employee." mom introduced our new employee. "She will be in charge in designing dresses under Gracy." mom's added.

I smiled at the girl. She looks like new but I think her ideas will work a lot. "I'm Trishalyn Mae Lopez. You can call me Sha, Miss!" she spoke.

"Welcome in our company." I replied. "See you around," I smiled at her and into my mom before I left them.

I went back in my office and I saw Selena. She looks pretty today in her red spaghetti strap dress and her coat is in her hands.

"Looks pretty today huh?!" I chuckled.

Umupo ako sa upuan ako and she also seated. I know that she has a new chika now. I really don't know why she's not keeping her self busy in their company. She always going out, shopping and maybe going abroad for a vacation while me is always here in this company and doing my best in front of my dad. Doing what he want and so on.

"Do you have any chika now?" I asked.

I started singing those papers that I need to sign as my approval. Natahimik siya which is I really don't expect it because she's use to speak a lot if we we're just two.

"How about you?" she asked.

I sighed. I know that she smell a problem in me. Gano'n talaga siya since we we're in high school. Ewan ko ba kung bakit hindi pa siya nag-pshych e sobrang talas ng sense of humor niya.

"We will end our marriage after six months. Making an issue is the key but I know that my parents will really mad at me or they will really get mad at him." I shook my head.

"Sabi ko na nga ba. Amoy na amoy ko na may problema ka e. So, what now? Are you going to agree with that?" Selena's asked.

I know that she know that I'm the girl that used to not really want people disappointed by her decisions and she also know that I'm doing this for the company.

"I'm also tired..." I stopped. "... Tired of making him foods na hindi naman niya kinakain. I am not really good in cooking but I use to learned it because that's what mom want. I gladly accepted his decision. I am not ready also for this." I continued.

I smiled at her and she gave me an apologetic smile.

"Don't you dare say to me na may nangyari na sa inyo and I'm going to be a Ninang na in that six months. Sasabunutan kita. Maghihiwalay kayo kahit may nabuo na." she chuckled.

Duh! We're not the same room nga tapos mabubuntis pa? How the earth could be?

"Hindi nga kami nagtatabi e." sagot ko.

An amusement has seen in her eyes. She laughed out loud inside my office.

"So, do you have own room?" she asked.

I nodded.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit gulat na gulat siya. We both don't want this marriage kaya bakit pa siya magugulat.

I ignored her. I just continued my works while she keeps saying na nagulat daw talaga siya na we're not the same room.

My door's office opened and it reveals him. Natahimik naman si Selena. I don't know why he's here. Is this for show?

"Babe!" he greeted.

Gulat na gulat ako sa pagtawag niya sa akin. That was my joked at him na naghahanap ako ng call sign namin and he suggested that. Para akong bata in that way. What the hell? Bakit ko pa naaalala?

Kita ko rin ang gulat na may medyong kilig sa mukha ni Selena. Hiyang-hiya na ako kay Selena.

Lumapit ako sa kanya. "What are you here, Clark?" I asked.

He smiled. "We have family lunch at my parent's house. Dumating kasi sina Lolo at Lola galing Singapore." he said.

"Oh? Nandito ka ba para sunduin ako?" I asked.

He nodded. "Yes, I'm here para sunduin ka, Babe. Are you ready now?" he asked. "Sorry, I didn't text you. Biglaan kasi." he added.

Oh? Bakit mo naman ako ma-tetext e wala naman akong number sa'yo?

"How can you text me if I don't have a number in your phone?" I arched a brow.

He laughed and he hugged me. "Please, pretend again. Your parents is at the outsiders and Selena and some employees might hear us." he whispered.

"And why you called me 'Babe'. You aren't allowed to call me in that call sign if we're just two or if we're with Selena. Selena knows everything." I replied.

Kumulas siya sa pagyakap sa akin. He smiled at me and I smiled back.

Ano na naman kayang trip ng lalaking ito?

"So," naglakas papuntang pinto si Selena. "I think, I might disturbing the newly couples or weds. I really need to go home. Bye!" Selena waved at us before she went out.

I checked the door if it's really closed before I went back in his front.

"Ano ba?" sigaw ko sa kanya.

He shook his head. "Hey, we need to do this. Don't be like that." he said.

Padabog akong bumalik sa table ko at inayos ang mga papers ko. I really looks irritated now. Umupo siya sa sofa at nag-laro na lang sa cellphone.

I'm not comfortable when someone is in my office na naka tambay lang like this except Selena. Selena is always an exception. That's our bonding because I am too busy.

"Are you done?" he asked.

I nodded.

"Let's go," he said.

I badly want to drive my car but he wants me to ride with him. He wants his parents to see us together in just a ride.

It's really awkward that we're just two in his car. It's also my first time to ride here.

I opened his speaker to listen a music. He didn't stop me. I just continue doing. Medyo nahirapan pa ako dahil hindi ako familiar sa sasakyan niya.

"Is it hard?" he asked.

"No. No! Hindi kasi tayo pareho ng sasakyan kaya medyo nahirapan lang but I can do this." I replied before I clicked and chose a song.

I also checked every boxes of his car. I also saw a mouth wash, perfumes, hair wax. I even saw lipstick. Kinuha ko 'yun at pinakita sa kanya. He looks shocked by what I did.

"S-sorry, it's my friend's lipstick." he said while still driving. Not looking at me directly.

I rolled my eyes. "Let's add more our deal. Our rules. From not the same room, to filing an annulment after six months. Let's add this, no cheating while we we're together." I said.

He looks confused by what I said. Alam kong pwede niya akong hindi sundin besides he really didn't like me. Pwede siyang mangaliwa. Kasal pa rin kami and I don't want people to say na Ang tanga ko naman.

"No cheating?" he arched a brow. "How can we make an issue if we have rule like that?" he asked.

"Simple. Someone will cheat in this relationship after six months but for now. No cheating a head. No flirty words, chats calls and no sex with other woman for six months." I said.

He laughed at what I said. "And why? What are your reasons to give me a rule like that?"

I rolled my eyes. "I just don't want people to say na ang tanga ko naman kasi 'yung asawa ko, may iba na ngang babae. Hindi ko pa na pansin." I said.

He laughed at that. What the hell? Ano bang nakakatawa?

"You will punish me for no having sex for six months?" he asked.

I nodded confidently. "Yes, you deserve it." I said.

"Deal!" he said while nodding.

Clark's POV

I really don't know what mom got in mind to invite us in this lunch. I am too busy but riding with Shai is too fun. I didn't expect that she will punish me in this kind of rule. Is she's jealous? I really feel that she has crush on me. She's too young and I know that she can feel that.

"When was your last sex?" she asked.

I really want to laugh out loud. The innocent Shailene is doing this shit with me. She looks shy if the she's with people but if she's with me. She's really having fun. I feel that she's just my friend who likes a bird. Always tweeting.

"Last month," I honestly said.

I saw an amusement in her eyes in the rare mirror. It's not shocking at all. Men like me is always having that moment. Playing around is really okay.

"How about you?" I asked back.

She looks innocent and I know that she's still virgin that's why I really respect her.

"I'm still virgin." she looks shy by what she said.

As the traffic lights turned red. I stopped driving. I looked away to hide my smiles. She's really like Crizza. My sister. She's still in college and the innocence in her eyes can't deny that she's not yet experiencing everything.

"Hey, don't be shy. I am your husband at all and you are still young. The man who deserve to get that is the man who really loves you." I said.

I looked at her and she smiled at me. "I respect you that's why I gave you a own room. You really like my sister Crizza. She's really innocent at all. She's in college. For me, you're my little sister. " I said.

She laughed. "Oh! Kuya. Looks cute. I don't have brother at all." she said.

The traffic lights turned green and I continued driving. We arrived at my parents' mansion at exactly noon.

Lola saw us and he really love how lovely my wife. Shailene's looks really know how to hospitalize. She really looks good in talking.

"Hi, Ate. I'm Crizza Andrade." Crizza offered her hand and Shai accepted it.

"You looks pretty like what your kuya's kwentos to me." Shai's said before she looked at me. I smiled at what she said kahit hindi naman gano'n ang kinwento ko sa kanya. Galing din mambola.

"Thank you, Ate but kuya is not really admiring how pretty I am but maybe now he is. I think for him, the only pretty girl is you." Crizza's said.

Kung magaling mambola itong si Shai mas magaling pa pala itong kapatid ko. Pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata. She's not used to say this even to my ex girlfriends since high school and college.

"Uhm, is that so?" Shai looked at me with questions looks.

Lola get her from Crizza. She really want to solo Shai. What on earth is happening in my family? Hindi nga rin nila ako pinansin.

"Is there any baby now in your womb, my dear? It's been two weeks since your wedding." Lola's said.

Nakita kong parang nasuka si Shai sa tanong ni Lola. Even me, I really don't like that question.

"Wala pa po, Lola. Hindi naman po kami nagmamadali." Shai's responded.

In her answered, it seems that she wants to. I don't want to think na bubuntisin ko ang babaeng ito. I respect her a lot.

"Lonzo, buntisin mo na agad itong asawa mo at nang magka-apo na kami." Lola turned to me.

I laughed at that. "Lola, we're focusing in our business pa." I said.

"Puro ka na lang business. Try to build your family." she said.

Mom called us na ready na raw ang food kaya pumunta na rin kami sa dining area to eat lunch.

While we're eating they're keep asking us kung kailan ba namin balak magkaanak ang kung ilan ang gusto naming babies. We're speechless but we managed to answer their questions. Fuck questions. I really don't this. I'm old enough para pakialaman pa nila ang buhay ko.

After the lunch, hinatid ko na si Shai sa office niya. As we are walking towards her office. Tita saw us. I immediately hold her hands.

"Saan kayo galing?" Tita asked genuinely.

We smiled at her. "Hey, Tita!" I greeted. "We're from our mansion. My grandparents came kasi from abroad and they want to see us." I added.

She smiled at Shai. Shai looks not comfortable in my hands or I can say she's just surprised that I hold it.

"You looks good together by the way, your Dad wants two of you to have vacation abroad for just a month. Your honeymoon. Hindi na kasi kayo nakapag-honeymoon after the wedding." Tita's said that really got surprised me.

What is this? They are really assuming that we are in love into each other?

"That's good," Shai's said.

Her mom say her good byes before she left. We entered in her office while she looks problematic again. I know what is she thinking and that's the honeymoon. I'm not really thinking a lot of that honemoon. I just can call that a vacation for two of us.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

She nodded. "I just don't know what this is too big deal for them. Sorry for this." she said.

I nodded. "It's okay," I said.

She seated at her swivel chair while playing her pen. I know that this will keep stressing her. Our parents really expecting this relationship to work. So sorry for them but this will really end soon.

"You should go to your office now. I'm okay here." she said.

I smiled. "Yeah, I was about to go." I said.

I left her alone. I just went back into my office. I am so busy like her when I received the email from Tito. Our tickets is now okay. It's a trip to Maldives. Maldives is really cool for honeymoon. I think this is all a planned.

I printed out those tickets. The flight will be this weekend and our trip is for month that's what in Tito's email. Ugh! This is too bullshit!!!
