Shailene's POV

Today is my twenty-fourth birthday and I really don't want to have a celebration. I'm too busy in our business but mom really want to have and it's in a garden birthday pa. Like, the heck. I'm like a teenage girl who wants to always have a casual party.

I'm now walking at the red carpet when I saw a guy in front and I think, a lawyer? I guess or a judge. What the heck is happening today?

Pagdating ko sa dulo ay inalok ng lalaki ang kamay niya. I accepted it. Ayoko naman na may mapahiya dahil sa'kin.

Mom went in my side and kissed my cheeks. "Please be a good girl. We love you so much, my dead. Accept the fact that this is your wedding and birthday celebration." she said.

Mom saw an amusement in my eyes. I really didn't expect this. Yeah, I don't do boyfriends because I really know that this day will come but I didn't expect that it's in my birthday. I even don't know this guy. I think, one of our family friend that I really don't know.

Mom also gave me a bouquet before we went in front of the judge.

The judge started the wedding ceremony while I'm too bored here.

"Did you expect this?" the guy's asked.

I sighed deeply. "I don't even know you. So, what did you expect? I expected that my dad will really force me but I didn't know that it's in my birthday. How about you?" I said.

He looked up. "I didn't expect this. I am a son of your Solomon and Darlene Gonzales. I am Clark Alonzo Gonzales." he introduced himself.

I know his parents. I think, he's not around in other gatherings. Hindi ko pa siya nakikita kahit kailan. Ngayon pa lang.

"Do you accept this girl named, Shailene Kendra Aquino to be your lawful wife 'til death do us part?" the judge's asked to Clark.

I saw a little smile at his face. "I do," he said before he put the ring in my finger.

"How about you, Shailene? Do you accept Clark Alonzo Gonzales to be your lawful husband 'til death do us part?" judge's asked me.

I fakely smiled in front of him. "I do," I said before I put the ring in his finger.

The judge clapped. "You may now kiss the bride." he said.

Yumuko si Clark before he wrapped my face. "Please, act passionately. We both don't want this too." he said before his lips touch mine.

I heard the crowds applause. I fakely smiled when we turned our attention to them. Clark hold my hand and I let him be.

"Please, act passionately." he said.

I rolled my eyes. "Shut up!" I replied.

The people started eating but I'm here at Mom's side. Trying to talk to her.

"Mom, can we talk?" I asked.

Our relatives congratulate me like I really want what my parents wants.

"Oh! Aren't you happy?" she asked.

I smiled at her. "Mom, I didn't expect this." I said.

She sighed. "Tanggapin mo na lang ang lahat ng ito, Kendra. The company is now on your name. Hindi ba't 'yan din ang pangako ng Daddy mo sa'yo?" Mom's said.

I don't have any choice naman but to accept this. I didn't know how to make this marriage work but I just need to do my best.

"Make your husband fall in love to you, Kendra. Clark is a good guy." Mom's said before she went back to their table.

I went back to Clark's side. He looks really formal while me is looks problematic.

"You looks so fell. Act like you really like this too." he said.

The people asked as to dance and we started dancing.

I don't know what will happen next. I just really need to accept this. Acceptance is the key.

Clark's POV

I know that she really don't want this. After the wedding and when we arrived at the house that our parents prepared to us. I started transferring her clothes in other room. I decided to act cold to her.

"Saan mo ilalagay ang mga gamit ko?" she asked as she saw that I'm putting her clothes in another room.

Every rooms here has closets. The house is too big. It's really just look like our mansion.

"I will give you another room," I said.

I know that she want this too. I respect her. I don't want to touch her. I know that she can find another man who will love her truly and faithfully.

"I don't want to stay in another room." she said that really gave me an amusement.

"Is that so? I respect you that's why I'm doing this." I said.

She laughed sarcastically. "Hindi na natin ito matatakasan pa. So, accept the fact that I'm your lawful wife." she said.

Nagulat ako sa lahat ng mga sinasabi niya. I think, she really gladly accept this dahil sumusunod talaga siya Daddy niya.

I really don't like her father. Lagi kong kakompetensiya sa lahat ng bagay. I have a lot businesses at hinding hindi ko makuha ang top dahil sa kumpanya nila. Is Dad doing this para ma-handle ko rin ang company nila?

"I accepted the fact. I just don't like your dad." I said honestly.

Nakapamewang siyang lumapit sa akin. "And why you didn't like my dad?" she asked.

"I have a lots of businesses and your dad is still in top. Hindi ko siya maunahan." I responded.

She sighed. "And now his company is all mine. You can help me." she said.

I nodded.

"Ano kaya ang pwedeng tawagan natin?" she asked sweetly.

Para siyang bata. I know that she's not mature enough. She's just twenty-four and I am twenty-six. For me, para ko lang siyang nakababatang kapatid.

"Babe," I whispered.

"That's so cool," she chuckled.

She's too cute. She practiced cooking in our kitchen but I never eat the foods she's cooking for me. Lagi lang akong nag-oorder ng foods. I don't want her to be tired.

"I cooked Adobo," she giggled and she put the Adobo in front of me.

"I already have ulam," I replied.

Nawalan siya ng gana dahil sa sinabi ko. Inalis niya ang Adobo sa harap ko at nilagay ito sa Tupperware.

"Ibibigay ko na lang ito kay Selena," she whispered pero narinig ko pa rin.

Lumapit ako sa kanya at kinuha ang Tupperware. Yumuko ako ng isa ng tinidor bago ko kinain.

"Hmm, not bad!" I said.

She looks happy by what I said. Para siyang bata na binigyan ng chocolate.
