Chapter 6: Ivor And My Crazy Dream

That night, I had a crazy dream, all caused by Ivor’s seductive gasp.

That dream had always haunted me. I dreamt Ivor made love with me. Yeah, we didn’t have sex; we made love. Ivor. In the dream, Ivor was not cold, he kissed my ears, my eyes, my nose and my lips in the most gentle and charming way. He caresses my breasts passionately, one of his hands on my waist, holding it tight.

Ivor fucked me forcefully and boldly.

My whole body could feel his tenderness and strength. Two conflicting feelings made me dizzy. I moaned happily, but cried with intense pleasure.

“Ivor, slow down... I can’t stand it,” I said in tears.

Ivor tenderly kissed my cheek and the corner of my eye to comfort me. But he still moved boldly.

I kept begging, but in return only gentle kisses and intense pleasure.

“Ivor, you bastard… You’re a liar Ah ha.. shit,” I scolded him, scratching his back.

Ivor laughed delightfully. When I heard his laughter, I realized he was teasing me. I wanted to break away from his embrace so I could see his face clearly, but I couldn’t, his hands gripping my waist so tightly like iron pins that I couldn’t move.

My stupid self-esteem made me try to get out of his arms. Faced with my childish tantrums, he kept calling my name with an attachment.

Ivor always knew how to make me be a good girl.

After that, I indulged in all his actions.

And in the most joyful moment, I wished he could say what I wanted to hear.

“Ivor, I love you, say that you love me, Ivor, please,” I begged in tears, but I still couldn’t hear his confession of love right away.

I was unhappy, head up, looking at his face. I couldn’t see Ivor’s face clearly, but I could see his lips moving.

“Ivor, say you love me,” I repeated the request again. As soon as Ivor’s lips moved and I thought that I was about to achieve what I wanted, the clock alarm woke me.

I opened my eyes, stupidly looking up at the ceiling for a moment, then I could accept the fact that it was all just dreams.

And damn, I had to wash the sheets. I really hoped that the sheets would dry up before I went to bed that night.

That crazy sweet dream woke me up earlier than ever. But when I came to the company, a lot of employees were there.

I was on a mission I took on recently, bringing Ivor his coffee.

When I saw Ivor, I realized I couldn’t face Ivor calmly anymore. I blushed and stuttered whenever I saw him.

Ivor looked at me with an incredulous and evaluative look.

“Are you sick?” Ivor asked, maybe he saw my red face.

“No, I’m fine,” I replied and immediately went out of his office.

That evening, Ivor continued to be with Elie. I did not even have a reason to go with him to the villa Elie lived in. My previous job was handed over to Romeo every time Ivor met Elie. Ivor didn’t explain this change to me or Romeo, so I was sad about it.

My paranoid dream repeated repeatedly, but every time I asked him to tell me he loved me, I wake up before I could hear what I wanted to hear.

The repetition of that paranoid dream made me feel tired. The dark circles under my eyes were getting darker.

Every time I brought Ivor his coffee, he always looked at me with an appreciative look. Gradually I felt that bringing coffee not only gave me a sense of excitement but also a sense of fear.

Anyway, I couldn’t stop myself from having more contact with Ivor.

Ivor had been having sex with Elie all week, and he never let me come with him.

One day, I needed to go to the villa where Elie was staying to see her and deal with a few contract issues. I didn’t inform Ivor about this. Before I came to the villa, I bought Elie some luxury gifts. I thought Romeo wouldn’t buy Elie presents.

When I arrived, Elie was lying on the sofa, sunbathing and reading a book. Elie was graceful and young. It was easy for me to explain to myself why so many men fall in love with her.

“Good morning, Miss Jenner,” I said.

Elie seemed quite surprised by my appearance.

“Good morning, Miss Reyes. Long time no see you,” Elie said, getting up and going into the kitchen. “What would you like to drink?”

Elie’s words broke my heart, and I realized that it had been a long time since I had accompanied Ivor to night parties or to the villas where his mistress was living. I had a feeling I knew little about Ivor’s life anymore.

“A cup of coffee for the morning, Miss Reyes?” Elie asked me again because she didn’t hear me answer.

“Of course, thank you,” I said. “Miss Jenner, these are the gifts that Sir Mitchell chose by himself. They’re for you.”

I said it out of habit.

Elie smiled, pointing to a corner of the living room, which was filled with unopened luxury bags. She said,

“Would you mind leaving it there for me, please? Please take a picture of those presents and send them to Ivor so he can see that I’m tired of unwrapping all the presents he’s given me.”

Elie’s words were like lightning, hitting me right in the mind. Of all Ivor’s subordinates, I was the only one who could choose gifts for his mistresses.

So Ivor himself could only choose these gifts.

Obviously, Elie was very special to Ivor.

I couldn’t control myself from looking at Elie. She seemed surprised by my confused gaze, but she laughed beautifully in response to me.

I put the gifts in the corner liked a machine. I wanted to leave this villa immediately, but Elie was hoping I could enjoy the cup of coffee she had made.

When I got in the car, I got a call from Ivor. At the other end of the line, Ivor said angrily,

“Lia Reyes, where did you go?”

“I, I go to Miss Jenner’s villa?” I stammered a reply.

“What? Why did you go there? I don’t want you to go there, the proof is that every night I go there, Romeo always replaces you, don’t you notice those things? Or should I tell you I don’t want you to see Elie?” Ivor said angrily. “Lia, where are your professionalism?”

I was speechless at Ivor’s reprimands; it was the first time Ivor had spoken so harshly to me.

I did my best to calm Ivor’s anger. I said, “Sir, I’m sorry, I…”

“Stop talking,” Ivor said. “Return to the company immediately.”

Before I could say yes, he hung up.

I was dumbfounded, Ivor criticized me for one of his mistresses.

Did Ivor fall in love with Elie?

But why would he love Elie and not me? I tried to figure out the reason myself, but it was useless.

My helplessness and envy turned into tears.

The driver tried to comfort me, but I refused his kindness. I have no intention of going back with red, swollen eyes from crying too much, so I choose to have lunch earlier than usual. I dine at Ivor’s favorite restaurant. The cost of the dishes was not too expensive compared to my ability to pay. But I could not eat here every day.

While waiting for my dishes, I clumsily wiped away the tears that fell unconscious with the tissue the attentive server gave me.

“Lia, what are you doing here?”
