It's ten in the evening and Selena's at her dormitory. Jean made her go home again, true to her word that she’ll push her out once she goes to work. While they were talking, she could feel Annie's stabbing glares. Clearly, her senior wasn't happy with the incentives she's getting.
She sighed and plopped herself on her bed, thinking of something to do. She's not used to sitting and doing nothing. She picked up her cellphone on the desk and dialed her mom's number.
It took a few rings for the line to get connected. "Nak. Oh, bakit ka napatawag? May problema ba?" A worried voice asked.
"Wala naman po, nay. Gusto ko lang po kayo kamustahin," she uttered.

Alexis heaved a deep sigh. He was thankful he got past Marga's ambush. He knew she would bombard her with a lot of questions.
