8th of Spring - One Step Closer (Part 1)

Club activities were shortened in preparation for the upcoming quizzes by the end of the week. The students were flooding the library and nearby cafés. It was a good thing that Selena had reserved a table at Mocafé for them. She asked Jean permission for them to have their study session there, to which her manager approved.

Selena served them iced coffee and cakes. “Help yourselves, guys. It’s ‘on the house’,” she said, then sat on the seat beside Kringle. Each of them took their drinks.

“Wow. Makapagsabi ng ‘on the house’. Ikaw may-ari nito?” Kringle commented.

Lucy coughed and almost spat her drink.
