It’s been a month since Caeleb started working for the company and I’ve enjoyed being out in the field as his partner. I still haven’t spoken to my brother but I knew he wouldn’t apologize for the hurtful things he said. Jenna told me she has been trying to get him to say he was sorry but he is stubborn and won’t budge. It’s ok though. One day when he finally grows up and wants something to do with me, he is going to look back and realize how bad the things he said hurt me and he will know why I don’t want to be part of his life. 2 more months until my birthday and I hope these next 8 weeks go by fast. I can’t wait to get out of here. I have been looking for a place of my own since I have a good bit of money saved up as of right now. I have also been looking at the job openings that are close to the places I’ve looked at. I’ve found 3 jobs near 2 of the houses I’ve looked at. “Skyla, if you ever need someone to talk to I’m here for you.” Caeleb says as I am grabbing the door handle to get out of his truck. “Thank you. I had a weird night last night. Aaron and Jenna didn’t come home until early this morning but what was so weird about my night was, I kept dreaming about Caeleb. These weren’t just normal crush dreams. They were dirty. I may have only had 1 boyfriend and never did anything with him but I know about sex and other sexual things. I have never had a dream like this before so it kind of freaked me out at first and I kept waking up but after the first 3 dreams I didn’t wake up as quickly or as much. After work, Caeleb and I headed back to the house and he walked over to his truck to leave. I looked around and saw that Aaron and Jenna still weren’t home. I introduced Caeleb to the guys he would be working with and asked Sal what there was for me to do. He gave me some gloves and told me I was going to be paired with Caeleb moving the wheat bales. I just love how none of the guys who work for my family business let me run the machine. It's not like I am new at this. I have used it plenty of times before my parents died.
