Maakua came out of her room looking for her stepmom. She had wanted to show her something she was watching on her tablet.

“Ma, come and see--" She stopped midway as she found her mom lying on the floor with blood oozing from her legs.

“Ma!" She shook Akosua but to no avail.

“Auntie Adwoa, mom is not walking up!" Maakua called as Adwoa turned off the stove and hurried to the parlour. 

“Maakua, get me her car keys now!" Adwoa panicked as she called the security man to help her put Akosua in the car.

“Maakua!"Adwoa called again as the girl brought her the keys and locked the house joining them in the car as they drove to the hospital, as soon as they got to Ridge hospital, the nurses rushed her into the theatre. 

“Call your dad," Adwoa whispered as Maakua called him. It rang for a while and he still wasn't answering. She tried for a couple of times before he finally picked out of breath.
