Another day of highschool hell had arrived. Waking up on a Monday morning was always a struggle. You'd swear I was a knight wagging war towards another land. In this case the land would be my bed. I stood outside the house, waiting patiently for Peter to show up but he took longer than expected. I think he woke up later than me. I began to walk to school since I didn't want to be late for class. It was not too long of a distace but I had no choice but to increase my pace. While walking, i heard the sound of a car beep from behind me. I was very certain it wasn't Peter. He didn't like the beep of a car. I continued with my journey, daring not to turn my gaze to see who was making that continuous beeping sound. I then stopped walking to allow the noisy car to pass. I turned my gaze to look but was surprised to see that it was my classmates. The twins and their shared boyfriend Tyler. The Finley sister's threw raw eggs on my face, while Tyler drove the orange Ranger van with music playing on the speaker. All three laughed as their perfect morning teaser worked out well in their favour. I was filled with so much shame. I searched for a napkin to wipe my face with but remembered that I had forgotten it inside the laundry basket. I then pulled out my jersey and began to wipe away the filth from my face.I decided to continue my journey to school but the smell of the raw eggs was enough to make me want to puke. I ran to the nearest public toilet and began to wash my delicate face. And just when I was about to leave, I heard a car beeping. I turned slightly and realized that it was Jake. I continued walking. With no interest whatsoever to speak to anyone, especially him. "Hey, wait. Sandra please wait for me." Jake shouted. I stopped then turned around to look at the annoying snob. "Why, so that you can laugh at me?" I asked. "Why would I laugh at you?" "Because I smell like raw eggs." Jake leaned in on me and sniffed. "You don't smell bad. I always carry around my body spray, you can use it. I won't mind." The snob offered. I rolled my eyes. "I don't want to smell like you.. I just want to smell clean." "We can get a body spray at a local store but I don't think we'll make it in time for class." I felt so emotional. "The Finley twins always have it in for me. Today they threw eggs on me and now I'll smell like this the whole day!" I shouted angrily. Jake was silent for a while. "I'm sorry that happened to you. Can I help you get revenge?" He asked "What?" "Can I help you get your vengeance?" Sandra chuckled. "How?" "We could do anything you want us to do." I couldn't believe what Jake was telling me. His offer was tempting but how could I trust him? "Well. I'm getting late for school. The list of things I want to do those three is endless and long." "How about we discuss that list over lunch, maybe after school." Jake suggested. Was this guy asking me on a date? Which means Peter could be right. He could be having a total crush on me. But I don't love him. "Why, what's the catch?" I inquired. "No catch." Yeah right, I'm only going to this because I want to see those Finley twins destroyed. Jake has plenty of connections. He could help me out. "Well okay. How will we meet then I don't have you on.." Jake gave Sandra his contact card. "That's how you'll reach me." He said, boldly. "But you do know that I don't like you." "Well I don't like you too." I had a laugh, the kind I hadn't had since morning. Sandra put the card inside her backpack. "Ah. Its 7:45, if you walk to school you'll be 20 minutes late for your science class. Can I take you there?" Jake offered. I felt a mixture of emotions. Everyone in school will now be a hater if they see me in his car. I have enough hater's as it is, but who cares. "Argh fine. Let's go then." I said boldly. Jake's face brightened. He opened the car door for me and I hopped in.Lunch break hour arrived. Peter and I were on our way to the cafeteria, when suddenly we heard loud scream. We rushed there and saw the Finley sisters both covered in raw eggs with a red colour on their faces. They both closed their lockers angrily.
"Who did this?" Anne Finley asked the pupils laughing.. no one answered. Alice Finley the other twin noticed me. "We have to get out of here." I said Peter was hesitant that he even stayed there laughing. Anne whispered to her sister. I think she was probably telling her I was responsible for the trap of which I was, indirectly. Anne wiped her hands onto her sister's T-shirt. She walked towards my direction. The pupils became worried. Peter stood in front of me.. "Touch her and you'll have trouble with me!" A voice said suddenly.. It was Jake."If you want someone to blame, take me. I did it " He added. Anne eyed Jake. I could tell from her expression, she didn't believe him. "You are lying" "Vengeance tastes sweet doesn't it." Said Peter. He cleared a way for me. Alice was grinding her teeth when she saw me."Are you siding with her?" Anne asked.
"Yes I am. I've watched you push her around and that is going to stop from now on.". Jake said. Tyler ran towards the Finley sisters. He asked in a low voice what was wrong but because he was a coward. He did not even cause a fight. He took the two girl's away from the crowd. "You better run." I finally spoke in a low voice. "Can I get that lunch with you tomorrow after school?" Jake asked. I simply nodded. Peter and Jake shaked hands in a super cool way again, before departing separate ways. Jake It had been weeks since I've spent a decent time with my father. He was always so busy with his many businesses not forgetting his alpha position which required him to travel still. In two weeks he was in Dublin, visiting another pack sort out a matter concerning an enemy threatening to take their territory from them. Seeing him sitting there on the dinner table with a smile on his face meant good news. He wasn't the type to smile, unless he had killed someone. Gushing the blood out of someone's body, thrilled him. I put on my formal clothes just to have dinner with him. He preferred it so. I grabbed a chair and sat there. "Looking great as always son." "A compliment? This must be good news." Daniel chuckled. "Let's just say my Dublin friends get to keep their home." "Wonderful.." I lifted a piece of meat from my plate ate it raw as it was. My father chuckled. "You need to eat more. You'll one day have to lead the pack. How will you do it without the proper nutrition, Do you even eat when I'm away?" I felt a slight offend" "I do eat." Daniel eyed me. As if in disbelief.. "I know I just arrived but there's a project that needs my attention." I placed the fork on the table. My appetite disappeared that very moment. "Where are you going?" "A business conference. I'll return in a few days." A name came in mind. It was Sandra. I could use this opportunity to show her around the place, maybe she'll realise that I'll be able to take care of her needs. "Its alright. Do what you have to." I said. My father's face brightened. He looks so relieved. Since I won't be here for some time. Will you be able to take care of the house alone or should I ask Paul to watch over you " "Come one dad. How can you even ask me that. I am no longer a pup. I can look after myself." I pressed. "I knew you'd say that. But again remember that you are not just any werewolf teen. You are my son. I have many enemies. They would do anything to get to me. And what a better way to do it than through my own offspring." "Dad, I am not scared. I can look after myself, I said." "Then I will leave the house to your care then, but no parties and some stupid friends over. I don't want any human here." "Dad, I am not a kid." "But you are popular in your school and I know how much those humans will be eager in coming here. Don't bring them here, if you care about their lives I won't have mercy." "Yes I know you're a cold blooded werewolf who would go to the ends of killing harmless teenager's." "Not just any teenagers, human beings specifically." "I won't bring any humans here." We finished off their meal with a glass of Cabernet franc.Jake The pack and I finally arrived at the Winslow estate. It stood there like a normal house on the outside. With trees and colourful flowers surrounding its walls but there was nothing normal about it. It held a bunch of dark, filthy secrets. So smelly that they lingered in the air. From endless tormenting of innocent people, to abductions and sacrifices to spells and killings. One of the werewolves behind me ran towards the yard without my command and immediately fell to the ground. "It is protected by a spell, do not go too close!" I commanded. Witth that said, my enemies revealed themselves. Each of them appeared clearly. They removed the spell that had been keeping them invincible however, a shield was covering them. Jess and her parents stood in a circle In front of their porch. Their hands were emitting red light which when they had combined altogether to form one large ring which somehow covered the entire yard like a dome. Behind them stood the Finley sisters and their b
Peter I had been looking at ways to hack my new phone, but still had found none. I had assumed that I could, infact confident that I would but that model was a special one. Instead I was locked out from having access to it. The screen simply became blue in colour and remained in that condition for an entire day. I could not tell Sheamus what I had done and so I simply lied and said i had been in constant communication with Jake, when he and I actually had last spoken a week ago. As the hours passed, I began to feel drowsy. But when I was trying to catch sleep, I was alarmed by a noise from the other room. I quickly went to check on what was happening and was shocked to see Jake and Sandra but she looked nothing like my best friend. Her style of clothing was too dark. I began to worry. "What's going on?" I asked. Jake had tears rolling down his cheeks. He continued to walk, I followed from behind. And watched as he laid her on the bed gently. "I love you, Jake." Sandra said. It was
JakeMorning arrived. I woke up feeling tired. I hadn't slept a wink. My thoughts, still on Sandra. I took a cold shower, to keep myself awake. Then went on to make breakfast for me and the others. Most of them attended Lakewood, while the rest attended schools in the other towns. I took a good look at myself on the mirror before leaving. Making sure I was presentable was important to me. Besides, I didn't want to upset Sandra by being careless. Ever since we had begun dating, I had improved a few things on my looks. My hair was much neater than before, my clothes were more formal and I had stopped wearing colourful sunglasses to school. She hated them. I finally arrived at the school. As usual, the learners were scattered around like tiny bugs. As I made way through the crowd, I was greeted by some of my exes as well as old friends. I couldn't just pass them, we had history together. The conversations were dumb and I wanted to find a way out of there. I finally found an open space wh
Sandra I could smell the entire room, all that was there was a smell of chicken. Food! My stomach began to growl, I could her the sound getting louder. I opened my eyes slowly, my body feeling completely weak. My throat dry as the sand. As I looked around, I saw the Finley sisters, Tyler and Jess all staring at me. Heat formed within me. Not again! I thought. It all felt like a nightmare was replaying. I tried to stand up, but my hands and feet were stiff. I realized I had been tied up like the prisoner that I was. "Let this thing off me!" I pressed. Tyler covered his mouth then blurted out with laughter. While his girlfriend's watched with a pleased demeanor, yet silent. "Sorry but I cant do that." Jess replied. "I wonder what Peter saw in you. You're not even that pretty." The Winslow witch did not seem affected by my words. She simply smiled "Peter might mean something to you but he meant nothing to me." She replied. I felt as if a sharp knife was pearcing through my heart.
Peter The hours had passed since Jake had left. Seeing him again had felt more like a relief. A familiar face reminded me that I was not a prisoner. However I was still very worried about Sandra. The images from the nightmare I had the previous night were still very vivid in my head. I sensed that something was wrong, It felt so real as if she was truly gone. Waiting for the answers was becoming dreary. But I had to try and be patient. Something I wasn't familiar with. How was I just going to ignore that feeling. Even the idea that witches existed still felt very unnatural, a simple town like Lakewood. One would not even think that the paranormal existed here. I felt anxious, Sheamus was not willing to speak to me. He completely ignored even the sound of my voice. No words came out of his mouth. I guess he probably assumed I would ask for his phone of which I really wanted to but held myself back Not that I didn't need it but I had to be patient, I trusted Jake more. And so hard as i
Jess Lovely, luxurious, lustrous, lonesome, loomy, loophole. I felt all the l's on my tongue, flowing like a soft melody. Enchanting. The sight of those two put me in an excited mode, the energy in the air was eccentric. I felt on top of the world, not in the highest level yet but still at the top. I had accomplished or goal, I was left with another. Having Sandra as my prisoner had seemed impossible at first wit that yodi pendant around her neck, but as soon as it was removed. She looked powerless, she was powerless. For her strength was removed from her. I could finally manoevre her. As I stepped into the room, I saw how weak she lokeed, her eyes all confused and filled with fear. The kind of respect she had to show me. I was above and she was beneath and that was how it was going to be from there on. "You?" Sandra had asked. As if surprised. Who else had she expected. I was the brains behind everything. Of course it was me. "Yes, me. You look shocked." A ticklish sensation began
