“Red you’re back!” the rogues I helped before run over to me, dressed in our border patrol uniforms “wow, look at you!” “not too bad aye” the King moves a bit closer to me as though staking his claim which does not phase the guys in the least bit “what are you guys up to?” “oh, we’re just on a break from training, that guard from the Royal City is brutal! But it’s pretty good to be back in the pack you know” “okay, well don’t let us keep you, see you guys!”

“Later!” they branch off headed to wherever they are going and we continue onto my home “why do you live so far away from the others?” “well Dawson, I mean Dad thought it would be best for me to be far away from home where my step mother and siblings are, which I greatly appreciated because then I was able to cut back on my shifts at the hospital and border”

“So you worked extra shifts just to avoid being at home is what you’re saying?” “yeah” I answer Tylers’ question “I see” he simply says looking away. I walk up to the house and break the seal on the front door and allow them to pass “welcome to my humble casa” they look around and my mom takes a seat on the couch while Tyler follows me to the kitchen.

I rummage through, looking for anything to make us a quick meal, I settle for some Sausage, Shrimp and Broccoli Cajun Sautee “oh my, thank you Azealia, it’s been so long since I’ve had this kind of food, it smells delicious too” by the time I turn around the King is already half way through his food, I was about to go back to the kitchen when there’s a knock at the door.

“Come in” the Alpha, my dad and the chief registrar come in “you guys took so long to come back so we came to you” “you guys want some food?” “from you? Always Roro” I dished them out some food too and sit and watch my father try to get close to my mom who ignores him and prevents him from touching her and he’s sulking.

There’s a sight I never thought I’d see, both my parents together, my mom is actually alive and she’s an Empress at that, we finish eating and I pile the dishes into the sink, Tyler offers to clean up and so does my dad “okay, well shall we begin, I can not be away for too long” I go over to him and stand before him and he opens a big, a big very old looking book “you wish to make right what was wrong, you are now old enough to write it down”

I see my name Roho Milva “take the pen and run a line through it and then ink the one you want, you get only one chance to make it right” I take the feather pen and dip it in the ink and run a line through Roho and it slowly fades away from the page, I’ve never seen that happen before then I write my name Azealia Milva I look to my dad who gives me a small sad smile, he truly doesn’t deserve it but he is still my dad so I dip the pen again and add Jacoby at the end.

“Who shall be the witness?” “I shall” Tyler steps over and takes the pen signing his signature on the witness line “thank you” he bows and closes the book and pack his things up “I shall take my leave” he closes the door gently behind him “Mom” “yes my love” “I’d like to see your Kingdom please, before I head back to the Royal City” “you intend to go back?” “yes, I have to finish my training, I’d never abandon my team” she smiles “very well, let’s go” “ahh hang on I need to reseal the house, I don’t want any uninvited guests to make their way inside while I’m away”

“Oh that’s fine I can do it for you from here” she closes her eyes then reopens them “done, let’s go” she waves her hand and once again a portal opens up and she steps through and we all follow “don’t you guys have anywhere to be? Why do you keep following us?” “like I’d let my mate out of my sight” both Tyler and my dad say at the same time “oh bleeding hearts of the world unite!”

“Your Majesty! You’re back!” a crowd of people runs to us and stop gasping when they see us, especially when their eyes land on me “oh by the Gods’ she looks just like you your Majesty” an elderly woman pushes through touching my cheek gently “welcome home child” she hugs me then releases me wiping her tears.

“These are my attendants and this is my Palace”

My mom shows us around when there is a commotion outside “what’s going on?” one of her attendant Gyahan comes to us “Mali and your family are trying to break in, they don’t know you have returned” my mom smirks then walks away from us and I follow her.
