“What’s going on?!” the Alpha and Beta come running “why are the twins on fire Empress Rozaria?!” “these are not the pups, these are very good mimics, the best I’ve ever seen!”

“Help me!” the girl screams and the Alpha moves to help and I stare at him “look at what they did to my pup! Which caused pain to her mate, can you explain to the Royal City what happened to their King and Queen in your pack?!” I shout, I am certain my eyes and hair are red.

“Look!” someone else shouts, their facade melted away revealing the true form of a mimic black, with hollowed eyes, no nose or ears and a mouth like an Angler Fish.

I keep my hold onto them but retract my flames “who put you up to this?” “we know nothing” they answer in unison, “if you do not answer me I will destroy your core and disintegrate them” “you know not where our cores are located so your threat means nothing”

“Take a good look at me mimics, I am the Elemental Empress, is there something like that, that I would not know, I can feel their fear, “I will ask you one more time, who sent you to harm my daughter?!”

They immediately answer this time “it was the woman Nika, she summoned us to take the skin of her pups and told us what to say and do” “and where is she hidden? What did she do with her real pups?” “her true pups have died since Ten years ago, she murdered them when they refused to harm Azealia, she is hidden in an underground bunker she made in the basement of her store” the crowd gathered all gasp in shock and start talking amongst themselves.

“I need to go and find her” “Rozaria, now is not the time to get revenge, we need to help our daughter!” “you shut up Dawson! You know nothing! The only way to save our pup and her mate is to find her and destroy the relic she used to summon these Two!”

I quickly open a portal “Winter Wards!”  the group step through “your majesty-mimics?” they look around “what happened to your pup?!” one bends to look at her “she is under the blood curse! Where is the relic? Her life withers away!” I called you here so you could take care of them, if I release them they will slither away”

They surround the mimics and create a frost dome around them “I will stay here, take the others with you and find the summoner and the relic and bring them here” I grab Dawson and the Beta “Alpha stay here with the King, Dawson imagine yourself at the basement where your chosen owns” I then open a portal and we go through.

The Winter Wards freeze the entire room so we can look for the door “there!” the Beta says then shatters the door, we all run through and the woman Nika is there hidden and curled up in a corner, her pups lay in a glass encasement, looking as though they’re sleeping, but I can see the bruises around their necks and arms from where she strangled, murdered her own pups.

“Grab her!” the Winter Wards take hold of her and the other searches around the room for the relic, they turn the room upside down, I glance into the case where the pups are, “I think it’s in the case, right there!”

He frosted the glass then used his finger to cut out a hole and grabbed the relic “quickly let us return” I open the portal again and re went through, dragging the woman with us “here, we got them” I give the relic to the head Ward and throw the woman to him.

He frosts the relic and she screams as it begins to crack and shatter “I see, so you exchanged your soul for the relic, she will die if I shatter the relic” he looks at us “I don’t care! She's a murderer, if it brings our pup back! Shatter it!” the Alpha answers before we get a chance to, and he does just that, he shatters it and her scream is loud, she falls back to the ground and turns to sand, I run over to my pup who is slowly regaining her color and begins to heal, I hold her in my arms and all my emotions pour out, my adrenaline has worn off so now I can afford to cry my eyes out for the pup I almost lost.

“Had I not been here, my pup would have died! Do you guys not know how to identify creatures?”

Her mate shoots up first clutching his chest and breathing hard “what happened?!” when his eyes land on my daughter he scramble over to her “Azealia!” he scoops her into his arms and rocks back and forward “baby, please please please, wake up! You can’t do this to me! Wake up baby please!”

I touch him on his shoulder, he looks so distraught “I need to take her with me” “where?” he asks with his eyes filled with tears “to the Elemental Kingdom, she needs the power of the Fire Flower Tree, I give you my word she will return when she awakens”

He looks away from me back down to her and kisses her forehead then nods, he stands and hands her over to her father “please send me back to my domain and take care of my Queen” “I will, in the meantime, take care of yourself” I touch his face then open the portal for him, he gives one more look at my pup in her fathers arms then goes through, I close it then quickly open another portal to my Kingdom.
