That’s so much better! Taking a cold refreshing shower, I have no idea where this temperature keeps coming from, but I do know it started happening after I got this weird ass mark on my chest, I was just about to dry my hair when I hear a knock at my door “come in” Joao and Beau bursts through.

“Are you alright, what happened, why did you go out?!” they swarm around me like mother hens checking me for injuries “can you stop I’m fine, Joao help me dry my hair” “I want to hep too!” I sit on the stool by my bed and plug in my hair drier, one combs through my hair while the other handles the dryer, whew this heat again!

The drier closes off and both guys lean in inhaling deep “Red, you smell-” “smell what?” “really good” Beau says staring hard at me, I sniff myself “well I just had a shower, maybe it’s my soap or shampoo” ‘hmm it’s gone” “could you guys stop being weirder than your usual weird please and finish drying my hair, oh! By the way I found a cool spot with the best food ever! We gotta go there tomorrow before our training shift!”

“There’s a really sweet waitress there, her name is Sally she’s got legs for days!” we all laugh as they continue drying my hair “and just what the hell is going on here?!” we all jump as King Tyler steps into the room “what are you three doing here together like this at this hour?”

His tone sounds so accusatory, “they just came to check on me my King, is that not also what you’re doing here at this hour” he fumbles a bit “I actually came to find out if you’re hungry” “no, I’m not Zach and I ate earlier, thanks for checking”

He narrows his eyes and balls his fist up staring at Beau’s hand on my hair “both of you please leave, I need to have a word with Ms. Milva privately” he says through clenched teeth, they both bow “see you tomorrow Red” “it’s a date!” I shout after them.

They close the door softly behind them, he walks over to me “why must you anger me so Roho Milva! You test every ounce of my patience woman!” he says exasperated “turn around” I do as I’m told and he takes the comb and drier and finishes drying my hair, I look up at him through the mirror and catch him smiling to himself and relishing the feeling of my hair.

I have had my gut feeling when I first met him and it seems it’s true, this man either has feelings for me or he’s my mate or maybe both, but I am hoping it’s the former rather than the latter at least that way I have a higher chance of refusing and going back to my pack after the training is up. If I am mated to him I will not be able to reject him, I have just been ensuring I keep a safe distance and avoid touching skin to skin I don’t want to give the bond the chance to grow.

King Tyler

Gods her hair feels like silk, so soft and smooth, I’m dying to lean in close and smell them but I know she’ll see or hear me and probably write me off as some sort of creep, it’s kind of surprising she hasn’t responded to my outburst asking what I meant when I said she angers me ‘but why didn’t she?’ ‘I don’t know and I’m not gonna ask either’ that may alert her or at least draw her attention to us and our interest in her.

"Thank you, they're dry now my King" "I told you, you can call me Tyler" she turns and looks up at me with her eyes squinted "who else get's to call you Tyler?" shit "uhm, my family" she raises an eyebrow, good going jackass she's not family "Cory does too!" she cocks her head to the side "I see" is all she says then looks around the room awkwardly "uhm so I came to ask how you're doing and if you got hurt"

"Look at me, I'm fine your dad was badass though!" she says coming to life, never in my life I thought there'd be a day I'd be jealous of my own father but today is most certainly the day "okay, is there anything you can tell me about them that stood out to you" she walks over to her bed and sits down yoga style and rests her elbows on her legs.

"Mmm I would have to say their eyes, I've never seen Rogues with blood Red eyes before and also the fact that they knew how to have an organized attack, normally they're disorganized and generally don't travel or attack in packs so that's something different and all of their wolves had different colours so I know it was not a family attack"
