Just then, a knock came on the door. He stopped, his eyes turned to the door and the knock came up again. “Who is there?” he grunted. “Someone wants to see you, boss,” one of his men sounded from behind the door.“Who is it?” he queried.“He wouldn’t say his name, boss,” the man stated.“You stay here,” he groaned in my ear and went to the door. The moment he opened the door, he was pushed back, hitting his back against the wall and the knife fell from his hands. I turned my head to the door, Emiliano stood at the door, holding a handgun and aiming it at Mariano. The guard that was speaking fell dead. Maximo showed up. A smile flashed to my face, seeing my people come to defend me. I have never been defended before, this feels like a whole new beginning in my life.“Move it!” Emiliano ordered, aiming the gun straight at Mariano’s head. They indeed look super alike. I couldn’t find a distinction, except for the clothes they were putting on, or possibly the emotion in their eyes.
