“Do you remember Luna?” I queried, interrogatingly staring deep into her eyes like the shaft of the sun over a deep blue ocean. She went as quiet as still water with only the sound of her heart banging her ribcage. She stared at me, confusion wearing off the weight of fear from her heart. “You remember her?” I asked again, relaxing against the chair, giving her room to rack her brain. She intently shook her head. “Well, let me tell you a story, maybe then you can remember,” I said and sat up. “About a year ago, you called Luna, a photographer, you wanted her to shoot at your fake wedding. She believed you and traveled down to Naples. On the night of her arrival, a villain, the man she feared most in her life stormed into her hotel room. Now guess who showed up when she tried to escape,” I narrated. Her chest began heaving up and down again. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead, clustered sweat rushing down her temple.
