Melanie's POV
"Sage?" I called unsure. "Yes, Sage. I'm back" he laughed and the line went off. I was in panic and I was getting worried already.
"Mom! Daisy!" I called. "Daisy". I yelled. I looked up the stairways and I saw her at the extreme end. She walked down the stairs slowly but I ran to meet her. I do not have all the time in the world to wait for her to come down.
"Steve" I muttered. "What happened to Steve?" She asked.
"Steve is in danger" I almost yelled and I noticed her eyes went wide open. Mom rushed over to us.
"I knew he would definitely be back but I didn't expect him to strike anytime soon." Mom sighed as she ran her fingers down her hair.
"Then we have to do something. It's Steve." I shouted in frustration. "Calm down dear. Everything will be fine." Mom assured.

Steve's POVI opened my eyes and I looked round. The place looks unfamiliar but when I regained composure, I realized I was in my room. Melanie's POV"Steve" I called and I stood up from the bed I sat on."Well, it seems I remembered everything now. I mean everything." He emphasized and I gulped."Oh...okay, it's good you know now. It'll save us the stress of explaining and trying to make you remember." I faked a smile. I was so nervous that I started to pick on my nails.He started to walk closer to me and I swallowed my saliva nervously."What...what are you doing?" I asked nervously."I remembered everything and when I mean everything, I remembered everything single thing" he gazed at me. "Including the kiss" he concluded as he drew his head closer to mine. He held on my neck and brought my face close to his. My heartbeat became faster and I became scared. I was indeed nervous. I don't know what to do but I decided to go with the flow. I closed my eyes and expected the kiss but nothing came forth.

Melanie's POV"Melanie dear, we are running late. Let's be on way" mom shouted."I'll be out in five, mom" I yelled from my room. I glanced at the young girl who laid on my bed."Won't you get up?" I glared at her while she rolled her eyes."That doesn't work on me, you know." She told me referring to the stare I gave her."Nevertheless, you ought to be out of my room by now." Melanie's POVI smiled when I read Suzy's message. "Let's have a duet" it reads. Wow, what was she thinking? Why would she want me to sing with her? I asked myself series of questions. Well, it won't hurt to try. I glanced at my wristwatch and realized it's almost 1:00pm. I groaned as I stood up from the bed. Melanie's POV"You?" She stared at me with wide eyes and smiles replaced her expressions."Huh?" I stared confusedly. She hurriedly pulled me up and she giggled."It's really you. I can't believe this." Melanie's POV"Stop! I'll do it" I said as I controlled my anger. I was already pissed off at what she was doing. I stood up and walked over to Steve.I bent down slightly and removed nothing from his hair 'cause it turned out to be a lie she made up to get close to Steve. Nevertheless, I rubbed my palm on his head and straightened some part of his hair. After that, I gave him a light kiss on his cheek and I went back to my seat."Thanks dear" Steve smiled and winked. I guess he knew what Clara was trying to do. I glanced at clara and saw the awkward look she gave me. She later avoided my gaze and started to dig into her meal - what she should have done earlier.I knew I had that victorious look on my face as I finished my food.
