Jessica's' POVI kept on trying my husband's phone number, but he wasn't picking his calls. It's been a year since all these dramas. Aria still hasn't opened her eyes since she was laid in the intense care unit. Her parents would randomly visit her, or occasionally so would Chris.“At this point, I don't know if your daughter would ever wake up. Why don't you put her to rest?” The doctor suggested one day when Mr. Patrick came over to the hospital.“I don't know about this, doc, I still hope and believe she'll one day wake up” Mr. Patrick responded as the doctor nodded.“Just think about it” And with that, he walked away.“Wait what? You can't put her to rest. I finally got discharged from the hospital a week later. All those seven days at the hospital, Chris tried contacting us, but my mom didn't respond to any of his calls. I laid in bed digesting all what Chris had said earlier. He was right though maybe I shouldn't even be searching for a job when I already have a place in my dad's company, but at the same time, he is the reason I'm in this mess; The forced marriage.The next morning, as usual, my alarm woke me up.
