CHAPTER 11. AT THE HOSPITAL.

It's been a year since all these dramas. Aria still hasn't opened her eyes since she was laid in the intense care unit. Her parents would randomly visit her, or occasionally so would Chris.

“At this point, I don't know if your daughter would ever wake up. Why don't you put her to rest?” The doctor suggested one day when Mr. Patrick came over to the hospital.

“I don't know about this, doc, I still hope and believe she'll one day wake up” Mr. Patrick responded as the doctor nodded.

“Just think about it” And with that, he walked away.

“Wait what? You can't put her to rest. She's not dead yet, she's still breathing, she's still fighting, can't you see?” That was Chris's response when Aria's dad broke the news to him.

“I think she's fought enough. She needs to rest now” Mr. Patrick responded. There was silence.

Christopher arrived from work, but his wife wasn't home, the babysitter was trying to put his daughter to sleep.

“I'll be leaving now, sir” The babysitter had said just right after
