THEY HATE ME STILL BUT I HATE THEM MORE.

HAZEL'S POV.

I couldn't stop grunting as I dressed up for the marriage between Kai and Vera.

I mean, who in their right senses gets married in the middle of a war?

The rogues could even invade the party, wait for the perfect time when everyone is drunk, and take every one of us down.

Dumb Alpha and his stupid Luna.

I didn't know why I was feeling a little bit hurt about the wedding, maybe the fact that Kai never changed.

I mean, he married me to fulfill a promise, and for four years, I lived with him. He never liked me, and now, he was doing the same for Vera, who was like that naive me.

"My love, are you done? The party has begun." Soren called out to me from the sitting room.

"One minute," I replied to him boringly.

I hoped he noticed that I was showing that I was not in any way interested in whether he was in a hurry or not.

The party should just end immediately. I thought, and dressed even slower.

He was very impatient and barged into the r

  • MY ALPHA OWES ME A REGRET.   A PERFECT FAMILY.

A PERFECT FAMILY.HAZEL'S POV.The journey to the pack's centre hall was shorter than I wanted, it was just as if I blinked my eyes and boom! We were there. The car's door was opened for me and I took a lot of time to alight.I was trying everything in my power to calm myself down. 'Pretend you are influential and go in there', I encouraged myself. 'Ignore everyone, avoid any form of talking, and show them who the boss is.' I said more affirming.I took in a breath, then practised on a sweet fake smile, and when I knew I was okay, I stepped out of the car with that smile, clenching my clutch. The guards surrounded me immediately after I stepped out, trying to get me out of the reporters' and press hold."Who is she? I've not been seeing her around." Said one of the reporters."She must be one of the guests who were invited from other packs.""Oh! Her skin!""She must be the moon goddess's personal handmade."Some moved towards me, ignoring the presence of the guards, "Please, ma'am, a

  • MY ALPHA OWES ME A REGRET.   I LOVE HIM BUT DON'T WANT HIM ANYMORE.

I LOVE HIM BUT DON'T WANT HIM ANYMORE.HAZEL'S POV.I couldn't pinpoint how Soren managed to change overnight and I was not ready to be a puppet to him."Look, Soren, you have been cold to me for days and have been ignoring my existence, which I have always been silent about. Why don't we just keep on with that attitude? Why don't we go to the party like we don't know each other to avoid fake smiles to ourselves?" I asked him.He scoffed, "You must be kidding me right now. You're unbelievable.""You are the first to be unbelievable, and I have grown past that stage. I don't know why you're making it look like a big deal.""I'm your fiancée for fuck's sake!""Oh yeah, now you remember who you are, and what should I do about that? Stand up and worship you?"He moved closer to me angrily, and I was not scared.I knew the truth that Soren never hit me, no matter how angry he was. He knew his limit every time I was included. And just as I knew, he stood beside the bed and spoke from there,

  • MY ALPHA OWES ME A REGRET.   HARD TO CHOOSE.

HARD TO CHOOSE.HAZEL'S POV.My children's bodies were so hot when I removed the duvet from them that I had to shout, they were so sick that I feared."Ryan! Ryder!"I scooped them both in my arms, one after the other, and ran with them to their bathroom. I dropped them both in the tub and switched on the cold water."Mummy." They called me softly."Yes, babies, I'm here. You will be okay, I promise you."I replied with the same voice.I began to pour the water on them slowly and my mind began to wander about. 'Where is the first aid box kept? Where is the closest hospital to this place? Who will take us there? Will Soren drop our fights and help us? Please!'I was almost crying because my children were my life. They were looking so sick, and I forgot about my weakness at that moment. I wanted to make sure that they were perfectly fine."Mama," They called me again.I snapped out of my thoughts and blinked my eyes to keep myself in check, "Yes, Sweeties.""We're fine," They assured me

  • MY ALPHA OWES ME A REGRET.   LETTING HIM GO.

LETTING HIM GO.HAZEL'S POV.When I returned to the pack house, I was so tired and all I wanted was my bed without any stress. I entered the chamber with such a big strength and was heading to my room, but I changed my mind.'I should check on my kids.'I went to my children's room and met them fully awake; they were expecting me with the eagerness they had when they saw me."Mama." They rushed to hug me, "We missed you throughout the day."That hit a nerve in me. I didn't see them throughout the day, and that hadn't happened before. I was always with them almost every time during the day."I missed you too.""Where did you go?" I asked them when we disengaged from the hug."Uncle Scott took us all around the pack and Mama, have you seen how beautiful the pack is? It's more natural than Godfather's pack, even Uncle Scott noticed that," They told me."Sh!" I hushed them, "Your godfather won't love to hear that."I had to go and check the door to see if Soren was not in earshot or aroun

  • MY ALPHA OWES ME A REGRET.   OUTING WITH VERA.

OUTING WITH VERA.HAZEL'S POV.The judgment given was fair to me. I was expecting something more deadly, death by slow poison or something of the sort, and for crimes they kept on committing, they deserved it. They were given the chance to choose the type of death they desired, which was the fair part.I walked out of the throne room after the rogues were being led out of the throne room. I returned to my chamber to check if my children had returned with Scott, but they hadn't returned even as the day was going down.I knew that Soren was not ready for any form of word exchange or conversation with me, so I didn't bother to go to him for anything.I decided to spend the remaining hours of the day alone and the place I chose was the pack's main garden. I wanted to go alone but I didn't want to go without a snack that would keep the boredom away from me.I headed to the kitchen and there, I took two freshly baked sandwiches and a bottle of soda. I was now looking like one wanting to go

  • MY ALPHA OWES ME A REGRET.   THE JUDGMENT.

THE JUDGMENT.KAI'S POV.I knew what the rogues were trying to do. They were trying to confuse us and for us to begin to guess over unnecessary things, but it turned out they didn't know me at all.I left them to do whatever they were doing. I watched silently."This is not fair, you seized the wrong person." One said, facing me."I'm snitching myself out right now that it's I. I'm the real face behind everything.""But it's I." And their mode of confusion went on and on.Soon, the room became a ruckus, like a place without deep human coordination, where people could shout and negotiate without a crime being recorded.Ever since I was a kid, I had always seen werewolves coming together as a group to do whatever they intended, but I had never seen a group without coordination.Werewolves are always well organized until maybe like now when a sense of favouritism set in, and I understood exactly what they meant and wanted. They wanted to release their leader. They were ready to shoulder
