"Benz when are you going to the next bidding? You know you haven't gone to one since long . I haven't seen any new painting of "R. Cz." in your room . The last dated 6 months back. " Serene asked her brother who was busy thinking about the next attack.
"Soon Lily, I heard he has his exhibition in 7 days. This time it's in MAURITIUS. " He answered absent mindedly." WHAT!! MAURITI... " She couldn't complete as her brother scrutinized her face and she gulped.
He observed this change and asked her, " What's so shocking about it. What's going on in that little brain of yours?"She was nervous but still fathomed courage to answer, " I have my next Ballet in MAURITIUS . And we are required to give an answer by tomorrow." There she finally dropped the bomb. She closed her eyes , took a deep breath and said ," Please let me go Benz , I haven't left Italy since long and I sincerely want to participate. You know our institute is even invited to perform in an Orphanage in New York. We'll leave Mauritius in 2 days. Imagine me teaching those little roses and their smiles and that too for a week. Please let me go." She showed him her puppy face trying her best to convince him.
"No' That was his stern answer.
"What" she whispered, trying to let it all sink in.
" Lily it's dangerous. What if someone finds out that Benjamin Dior Walker's life is exploring the fun in MAURITIUS? What if they try to harm you and I am not there? Sorry Lily ; anything else but not this."
She was heartbroken but was determined to fight," None knows me Benz. They don't know you have a sister and seeing my face is far from it. I have always obeyed to your words . The only difference is he used to imprint his orders on me while you command your order." She was crying and shaking rigorously.
He fisted his knuckles. Guilt and Anger surged in him fighting to take control. But seeing the state of His Lily, Guilt won. He still regretted not being here for her when she was drowning in her miseries. When she actually needed someone to hold on to. What added to more to his guilt was that she never disclosed the name of her tormentor.
He held her shoulders and lifted her chin, wiping her tears and gently kissed her forehead and said," I can still go on my knees to apologise Lily . I am cruel but not an animal. Never in an millennium I want my baby to beg or be scared of me . You want to go , then go. But please allow me to keep some guards to check your surroundings before you step in a place." She was about to refuse but he interrupted ," They will be far from you and will inform me regarding your location that's it. Please ." She sighed and agreed.
"But what about him. He won't allow. What if he comes again and.." " Don't ever be fearful in life Lily because you are sufficient for yourself. I will handle him but if he tries anything you have the dagger and I guess my defense lessons as well. I will be your shadow but remember you need to face the light and if Serene Walker holds the power to heal a soul , she also knows how to stab the same heart. Am I right?" He asked. Confidence and admiration brimming her eyes.
" Yes! Thank you Benz .Your my iron . I am no more the porcelain doll ." she sclaimed with confidence." I am a rugged personality who was reincarnated the day I stepped on the saddle . I can fight my own struggles anf face my own music. I love you." She hugged him and her fear went on a vacation because even he was scared of This SERENE.
A tear managed to free itself from his eyes as he saw her strong Lily." Now stop being dramatic and pack your bags. After all MAURITIUS is waiting for you and yeah no funny business. " He took her hand and placed it on her heart ," Give it to someone who will cherish it like his own. The one who'll fear to even let these eyes cry. The one who'll lock your sadness in some dark room and show you the blooms of spring because you Mi Tesoro are no less than a rainbow. So enjoy this trip to the fullest. I hope you'll be back soon . I am going to miss you.And yeah visit the exhibition on my behalf, I guess I won't be able to make it." He caressed her hair gently.
"You hold the purple of my rainbow Benz because I trust you and love you the most . Thank you for being the brightest star of my universe. Now bye I have to go.And this time you'll have the best painting. Not those old ones which give such cold vibes. I don't know what is interesting in those paintings. I feel as if the artist is a walking corpse who has no life." She giggled merrily jumped and ran of the door diverting her attention to packing.
"You don't know how much depth that holds Lily. The artist holds something so painful, so inexpressible." He whispered to himself and went back to his work
Little did they know MAURITIUS would rock their lives and Change it into something better or...Worse.

SMILES ORPHANAGE The evening was crisp yet somber. The setting sun cast a rosy hue across the evening sky casting shadows on the ground.
