I take a breath of relief when we exit the cafeteria. Things were getting a bit stiff in there with how everyone in the clan was following our conversation. I roll my eyes at my beast. "Is everything alright?" he ask. He must have caught the action and thought it was meant for him.

"Ah, is she giving you a hard time?" he ask as I sit on one of the boulders. I chose one of the larger ones in this clearing hoping that he might sit next to me. I smile when he takes the hint.
