Forgotten memories

Remember when we were kids, and one of my neighbors asked me if I had a crush?

I found you attractive but not to the point where I'm crushing on you, and I declared that you're my crush despite the fact that it's a half-hearted decision. This neighbor likes to tease me, and he told you that you're my crush.

But I was surprised to see that even though I'm looking at you from afar, you're still looking at me from the porch of your relatives' house.

You don't live in our neighborhood and are only visiting your relatives, one of whom is my neighbor, but I'm so glad that whenever I see you, you keep looking at me.

I'm always excited to see you, and people around us have noticed that we've been staring at each other from afar for several hours.

I had a crush in grade school, but my crush on you grew stronger after you got my number from my cousin.

We've been texting for about a month, and I still get excited whenever you come to visit your relatives in our neighborhood.
