CHAPTER EIGHT

Daniel stared at the unconscious man who was tied and seated in the empty room. He felt a surge of anger the moment he saw him. If it wasn't for this man's betrayal years ago, perhaps, his mother would still be alive.

He had vowed on his mother's grave that he would avenge her death and he meant to keep that promise because he would fish out everyone who was involved in one way or the other. Directly or indirectly and he will deal with them one after the other.

He slowly sat on the empty chair that was situated right in front of Rollo and stared hard at him. With a kick on his knee, Rollo grunted and slowly opened his eyes.

"Who are you?" He asked as he tried to disseminate Daniel's look in the shadows but he couldn't quite catch it.

This was one thing Daniel loved about the moon house, he could always see his prey but none of them could see the face of their predator. The harsh light in the room was solely focused on Rollo's face and he wouldn't be able to see past that light.
