FAZER LOGINChapter 4
Axel
Files laid stretched out before my desk. My eyes stayed focused on one of them but I wasn't even concentrating.
I was finally back. Ready to get my revenge but Isla didn't even seem so defeated, she still had the courage to attack me. I rose up to my feet.
I had to break her.
Pierce trailed after me immediately I walked out of the office.
"Where would you like to get to?" He asked, my eyes drifted and paused on my steps. She definitely wouldn't be in the room all day.
"Where is Isla?"
"In the garden." Pierce said, his words triggering a memory.
Her words still remained vivid in my head, "When we get married, our children will play around here."
Those were the words she said when planted flowers. Only for her to reject me a few days after learning I was her fated mate.
I shook my head. What was I thinking? She would never keep a memory of us.
The sight before my eyes a few seconds later however made me pause. It was the exact spot from years ago. She did keep it.
Isla kept it but she rejected me. I took heavy steps forward and the scene before my eyes made a shiver run down my spine. Blood dripped from Isla's forehead while a group of maids kept slapping her.
I rushed forward, feeling my blood boil. I took her away from their hands and I immediately caught sight of Lyra sitting in a corner with a huge smile on her face.
"Who told you to touch her?" I asked, my voice dangerously low.
The maids dropped to their knees, visibly shaking. I ignored them, my head slightly turning towards Lyra.
Lyra had risen to her feet, walking closer. I ignored her and turned to Pierce. "Get the doctor here."
Pierce retreated immediately and I swapped Isla into my hands, carrying her in a bride style.
Looking at her pale face, I couldn't help but find her stupid. She would fight so desperately if it was me, why did she become weak when it was someone else?
I rushed her to the bed, and the doctor arrived immediately. He treated her wounds and turned to me.
"The impact is heavy. It will take a few days before she wakes up. You'll have to take care of her before then." He instructed, and I nodded.
Pierce followed him outside to listen to his instructions while my grip tightened around her hands.
Why did you keep the garden when you had rejected me? I squeezed her hand tighter, the scene flashing before my eyes again. I had foolishly believed she would have chosen me over the wealth but I was wrong.
Even now, I couldn't help but find myself wishing that she had cared.
Isla's hand shook and I let her go, snapping out of my thoughts. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead, and I raised a hand to her forehead.
She was burning up. "Pierce." I screamed at the top of my voice, a little panicked. "Get a moist cloth and give me the medicine." I said as soon as he walked in.
Pierce hurried out and soon returned, I placed the cloth on her forehead and supported her with my hands as I fed her the drug.
After a few minutes of wiping her face over and over again with the moist cloth, I felt her temperature drop.
I sighed leaning back, beads of sweat now formed on my forehead. I stared at her calm face and I couldn't help but sigh.
How did she still make me worry so much about her?
"I want to see the Alpha. It's been several hours already, I don't believe he doesn't want to see me." I heard Lyra's voice from outside and I got up to my feet, it was about time I met with her.
I pushed open the door and Lyra rushed to me as soon as she saw me.
"She's someone you hated for so long. Pierce actually kept me outside like it was someone important." Lyra said, visibly annoyed.
Pierce kept his head lowered and I waved him off. I turned to Lyra who stared back at me, not a hint of remorse in her gaze.
My eyes dropped, cutting eye contact. What was I thinking? I had talked about hating Isla for so long, why was I angry that someone helped me to punish her.
"Why did you do that?"
"I didn't touch her. I only asked to work for some food, and instead she banged her head on concrete. She must have done it to get your attention. You must not fall for it." Lyra said and I could tell she had done it out of loyalty but I couldn't help but feel my blood boil.
"Why did you keep her from eating? Did I give you the right to do that?" I questioned, glaring daggers at her.
Lyra lowered her gaze, panicked. "I'm sorry." She muttered, her voice shaky.
Looking at her lowered head, I regained myself. Lyra had only starved her for half a day, it was nothing compared to what I had in my mind.
"It's fine. It's not your fault." I said, resting my hands on her shoulders. "Your maids must have been the ones to convince you to do that."
I smiled, and Lyra raised her eyes to catch mine, immediately understanding my intentions.
Lyra nodded, about to turn but she paused, biting her lips, she spoke, her head low.
“Alpha, You returned for…” I didn't let her finish, raising my head to her neck, choking her.
She coughed for air but didn't dare try to get me to let go.
“It's not your turn to teach me what to do.” I said, and she nodded quickly. I scoff, letting her free.
I signalled to Pierce.
"Feed those groups of maids to the dogs, especially the one who instigated her." I smiled at Lyra and she recoiled.
“Inflict the punishment for a servant who talks back to her master.”
Lyra lowered her head, trailing behind Pierce. I returned to the room.
Isla still laid peacefully on the bed, her face calm and relaxed. Not like the person that brutally abandoned me years ago.
My fingers traced around her face. Why do I still go crazy when it's anything about you? I tilted my head slightly when a word escaped her lips.
"Kelvin.”
Chapter 5IslaMy eyes fluttered open at the heavy light entering my eyes. I was back in my room, laying on the bed and not the floor this time around.I rose up from the bed, my head still feeling foggy and a little dizzy. How did I get here?My eyes scanned the room and I finally caught sight of the mug. It was a few metres away from me, I reached forward and grabbed it only to find that it was empty.I scoffed, pulling away the blankets and at that moment my stomach grumbled. I rose to my feet, heading to the kitchen.Questions swarmed my mind as I walked forward. How long have I been unconscious for? Who saved me?I ignored all of it when I finally got to the kitchen. I took up a tiny space in a corner and had my fill before stepping out, a mug in my hand.Surprisingly, this time around the lady didn't come to bug me. I smiled, maybe I finally got her off my back. The words of some maids hit my ears and I stopped on my tracks."I heard the Alpha punished Miss. Lyra and took care o

Chapter 3IslaAt the corner of the bed, I pulled my knees closer to myself, hugging them close with my head buried in my legs.I soon felt his grip on my leg, and he dragged me closer to him. I screamed, my whole body shaking.Axel let go of my feet, his fingers rested on my chin, forcing my face up to face him."Let go of me." I said, my voice slightly shaky. Alex smiled, even chuckling lightly, my scared expression brought him joy."You really think I want to touch you?" He asked, a smug grin plastered on his face.I pushed his hand off my face, glaring at him hard. "Get out of here." I said at the top of my voice but Axel grabbed me again and I felt my heart sink to my stomach.Axel leaned in close, and I closed my eyes expecting the worst. He tore from the hem of my dress, and stood straight."You disgust me." He spoke, wrapping his wound. "I would never touch you." He continued walking out of the room.I waited till I couldn't see his back before rushing to close the door. My ba
Chapter 2Isla"Get some new clothes. We'll be having our wedding now." He said, his voice devoid of any emotions. My eyes widened, I grabbed onto his feet, trying my best to resist. "No. I won't get married to you."Axel stood frozen, and I soon felt the maids hands on me. They tugged at my legs but I held on, gripping his legs tighter but in just a few minutes, they were able to drag me away.I crossed my hands over my dress. "I won't change!" I screamed at the top of my voice but they just ignored me.Two maids pinned me down, and the other pulled my dress down. They pushed me into the bath tub, and after a few more minutes, I saw a cloth hanging at the corner of the shower.I took a deep breath, there was no use resisting now, I might as well go along with it.My head stretched to the back of my dress but I couldn't zip it up. "Yuna." I called, still trying. "Can you help me with this?" I asked, and I heard the curtains part. Her footsteps came closer and I dropped my hand. "Thank
Chapter 1Isla"Was this what you wanted?" The voice rang from behind.I stared at my reflection in the mirror, perfectly styled hair and a silver necklace hanging on my neck.I sighed. Did my opinion even matter?"I don't have a choice." I whispered to myself, and the door was pushed open, light shone on the dimly lit room.My maid walked with a wide smile on her face. "It's time."I sighed. Today was supposed to be the best day of my life. Everyone was happy for me but I wasn't.I was getting married to a man I had never heard of and it was my duty to keep the peace between the two packs. I was simply prey to both sides. My maid, Silva moved to my side, raising me to my feet."Let's go." I pressed her fingers tightly and she pulled the veil over my head.Silva guided me out of the room into the hall but she suddenly stopped in her tracks. I raised a brow, squeezing her hand."What's wrong?" I asked, but she didn't answer, she freed her hands from my grip.I searched for her but she
