A New Side

Fiona was the one that entered the room. She looked around the room, looking for Cara and Alex, and when she saw them on the balcony, she walked up to them with a big smile on her face.

“Aunt Cara, Aunt Alex, Mom ask me to call you both to start dinner.” She said and Cara nodded her head in agreement. “Yes, tell your mother we’ll be down shortly.” She said, and the little girl nodded. She gave Cara a sweet smile and Alex a thumbs up.

Alex smiled at the action. She found the little girl so endearing, and the sweet little smile she always gave was so refreshing.

When Fiona was gone, Alex realized that she needed to get dinner started soon because she would be making plenty of dishes. Although Dee had volunteered to help her, she could as well start as early as possible.

She took a long sigh, then she turned to Cara and said. “Let’s go downstairs. We'll talk about this later.”
