DONOVAN’S POV

The whole assembly quietens down as a sign of respect as my parents and I walk into the large room. The Lycan king, his Luna and the incoming Alpha of RedWood pack and successor of the Lycan king.

We don't always have meetings like this. Usually, it is always father and mother who held the gathering. On rare occasions am I needed unless it is times like this. When I had gotten the invitation to attend the gathering earlier today, I was quick to figure out what it has to be for.

And I am sure it is nothing more than that.

I take my seat at the high table next to the thrones of my parents, and my eyes analyze the gathering. Every high rank of the pack is here, their eyes greedy and ambitious.
