XANDER'S POV CON'T
When we got downstairs Alaric was already standing in the front entrance, waiting to receive Alpha Kallan, refusing to even glance in Brianna's direction. I could tell her presence bothered him as he stiffened, and it wasn’t long before he was mind linking me, scolding me for bringing her, but he knew just as well as we did that we couldn’t have left her unattended up there just in case.
When Orion showed him in, I was relieved to see that he brought his Luna, but he was massive. Larger than most Alpha’s, he towered over his Luna although she looked unphased by him, and from the stories we’d heard, they were very much in love.
