chapter seven

Zara's POV

On our way home I refused to talk to my parents, instead I chose to stare out the window. I couldn't believe they would agree to send me to Darius's pack without consulting me.

"Zara, come here" my mom called after me as I stomped upstairs.

I turned back to give her a piece of my mind but the look on my dad's face stopped me.

"Why would you make a decision about my life without asking me about it?"

" We haven't come to an agreement yet, we need you and Darius to discuss first".

" We both know that is a fucking lie, Darius and I have no say in this".

My dad sighed and we turned to look at him." Zara, you know how things like these work, don't be angry at your mom"

" Should I be angry at you instead?" I crossed my arms.

" You are just like your mother, too stubborn and sarcastic" my dad stood up from his chair to sit beside me." I am sorry we are doing this to you, this is a chance to make peace with the royal pack"
