Chapter Thirty-Two

Landon

A whoosh sound and Sally appears before my eyes. I rush to her side and grab her by the shoulders. “What the hell happened to you?”

“Fenrir.”

I shake my head, suddenly feeling sick. “What? No, I don’t believe it. He would never.”

“He believes Samara lives.”

I stare at her confused, “What do you mean, ‘Fenrir believes’?”

“He believes Samara lives through Mazelina.”

“Maze’s wolf’s name is Samara,” Elion says. I glare at him, I know that, but Sally didn’t.

“Then it’s true.” Sally falls onto her chair, “Samara has come back.”

“This shouldn’t be a surprise to you, Sally. We all know how we receive our shifter spirits.”

“Does she know?” she asks.

“No. So many shifters have the name Samara from long before Mazelina was born.” I shake my head in exasperation.

“I’m calling my Alpha right now.” Elion leaves the room.

“We should stop him,” Sally tells me but doesn’t make a move to stop him herself when we both know she could.
