Chapter 11

Present Day

I gasped loudly in shock and sprung up to a sitting position on my bed. The same damn nightmare cursed me again tonight making my heart race with fear. The fire, my pack, my siblings' heads hitting the floor, and that damn villainous smile plagued me. I placed a hand over my heart and ran a hand over my sweaty face in an attempt to calm me down but the longer I sat here, the more anxious I grew. I pulled the sheets off of me and quickly ran out to the hallway. I walked down the hall to Saige's room and gently opened the door to peek inside. I sighed with contentment when I saw her sleeping peacefully in Elijah's arms.

"Thank goddess" I whispered and closed her door. I walked across from her room and opened Elios's door hoping to see him asleep as well but my heart fell when I found his bed empty and he wasn't in his gaming chair either.
