Chapter 14

I woke up the next morning with a crick in my neck. I kept my face looking towards Ren all night; afraid that he would wake up before me and leave but when I opened my eyes he was still there sound asleep in the bed beside me. I sighed in relief and attempted to at least sit up. I forced myself on my ass and swung my legs over the side of the bed and tried to move my neck around without injuring myself. The door to the infirmary opened and Juliet walked in with a red apple in her mouth, coffee in one hand and a clipboard in the other.

Her light green eyes found my brown ones and she rolled them playfully before setting down the clipboard down so she can grab her apple out of her mouth. "Only you would be awake at the crack of dawn. Luna, you need to rest" she scolded me before taking a bite of her breakfast.
