Chapter 16

"W-w-what did you say?" I asked perplexed. 

The seriousness in his expression didn't falter and he grabbed my hands firmly in his. "I said, turn me into a werewolf" he repeated himself.

I choked back a bit in shock and took a small step back from him. "But why would you want that? Is it because of what my dad said?" 

He shook his head and tried to pull me closer but I refused.  Why would he want to change who he is and become a monster like me? He doesn't understand what he's asking of me. 

"No I could care less about him and his words. I've wanted to be turned into a supernatural ever since Bastian came into my life and introduced me to your world. I've tried countless times and numerous ways to convince other leaders to turn me but they all refused" he explained.

"Because without The Council's approval, it's unlawful to turn a human. No matter how willing" I replied.
