In the sun-drenched streets of Los Angeles, the elite basked in the glory of their wealth and status, lounging poolside with exotic drinks in hand. But behind the walls of one of the most opulent mansions in the city, a different kind of drama was unfolding.

As the servants stood by, trembling with fear, the once-loving atmosphere of the mansion was shattered by screams and tossed furniture. The husband, a man of power and influence, was in a rage that could not be tamed.

“Sign the divorce papers, Kate, and get out of my life!” David bellowed, smashing a bottle of liquor into the nearest wall.

Kate's voice trembled as she protested, “B-but, D-David! I-I s-swear, t-that i-is n-not m-me!”

Without warning, David pulled Kate's hair and dragged her in front of the big screen. The images rolling on a loop were abominable. In their own house, on their own matrimonial bed, Kate was caught fooling around with a stranger.

“Are you blind, Kate? Are those fucking glasses of no use to you other than making you look fucking ugly?” David raged, the first time he had ever insulted his wife.

It was true that Kate was blind without her glasses and not the most beautiful woman, with curves that didn't conform to society's standards. And it was also true that she had gained weight recently, returning to her stress eating disorder. But David had always loved her, flaws and all.

He ran his hands through his hair nervously, a vein pulsing on his forehead. His hands curled into fists as he fumed in rage.

The room was silent except for the sound of Kate's sobbing. The Los Angeles sun that had once shone so brightly now seemed to mock her, as if it were laughing at her misfortune.

David's face twisted in anger as he towered over his wife, his hands squeezing her shoulders. "Or are you just a stupid cheater? In our own bed, Kate, in the same bed you lost your virginity one year ago?"

Kate's mind raced, trying to make sense of the situation. The pictures on the wall were damning, but she knew she was incapable of cheating on the love of her life.

"I...I would never cheat on you. It's a setup, that's not me."

David's grip on her shoulders tightened, and Kate winced in pain. "Look closer at your shoulder. Can you spot your birth sign?"

She had seen it, but she still had no explanation. The night in question was a blur. She had been with her friend Lyra for a sleepover, and now she couldn't remember anything else.

"You have to believe me, David! Please, ask your tech team to check those photos, they are fake! Otherwise, I cannot explain it, I was with Lyra that night!"

David's face twisted in disgust. "I did that already! They have already confirmed it, Kate, both my tech team and your best friend, there was no tampering with the photos, they are real!"

Kate collapsed onto the floor, her tears flowing freely. She couldn't understand how this had happened, how she could have betrayed the love of her life.

‘Why is this happening to me? Why did Lyra lie to him?’

David sneered at her. "I was a fool to marry you, a nobody without class and education, an orphan that could not know what the sacred matrimony means! Don't think for a second that you will get a penny from me!"

She stood there, stunned and humiliated. The man she loved, David, the epitome of wealth and privilege, had just kicked her out of his life. The class difference between them had always been a thorn in her side, but she never thought it would lead to this.

"Get up!" David bellowed. "Stop making a scene here! Or should I call the security to throw you out? Take your things and just leave my sight!"

Her heart sank as the sense of humiliation ran through her veins, tearing her up from inside. If David truly loved her, he wouldn't have doubted her. But he did, and the pain was too much to bear.

‘If there was a traitor between the two of them, it was him,’ she thought. David had betrayed their sacred vows, his own heart, and the love he swore to until death set them apart.

But she refused to let him break her. She wiped her tears away and forced her trembling legs to support her body.

Determination crossed her face. "Give me those papers! I'll sign them, and we will never meet again!"

"Good!" David threw the documents at her. "Pack your bags and move out!"

"I need nothing from you!" she retorted. "And I really hope, David, that one day, you discover how wrong you are. I hope you will be happy alone, though I wished that we'd be happy together! Goodbye, my love!"

Her broken voice held strong emotions, planting a seed of doubt in his heart.

But David knew the truth. He had evidence of her betrayal. He dismissed the hesitation, knowing that he would not be manipulated by her again.

As she stepped outside the house, her heart shattered into a million pieces. She fought the tears that were threatening to fall on her cheeks, but they refused to listen to her. They cascaded down her face like a river, each droplet a testament to the pain she felt inside.

‘I have no money and nobody to take me in, where will I go?’ she thought. The weight of the world was on her shoulders, and it threatened to crush her into dust.

The stress got the best of her, and she collapsed onto the ground. Her body was frail, her spirit broken. She had nowhere to go, no one to turn to. She was alone, and the world was a cruel and unforgiving place.

As she lay there, her mind raced with thoughts of despair and hopelessness. She had lost everything, and there seemed to be no way out of the darkness that had consumed her.

Soon, she passed out.

Hoping Sienna doesn’t go overboard on the revenge! Showing X she has prospered even though he disregarded her. The X friend was completely underhanded and evil, retribution for her is justified.

David will regret it. She will leave and have a better life without him. She will probably be pregnant now.

Three months later… The grand Hamilton residence was abuzz with excitement. It was a day of new beginnings, of promises, and of love.
