CHAPTER 8

The small door opens,and Aster, together with Penelope and Michael, walked towards the altar. Aster cannot hide her emotions; she is so elated that she started to cry.

Aidan,on the other hand, cannot explain how he feels. He is happy but there is something else, he can`t explain what it is. He looks at Aster happily. She has always supported his decisions. They were each others anchor.

He sometimes thinks that maybe the reason why Aster lost her mate was because they are really meant to find each other. He once went to the pack witch to ask about his mate but the witch found nothing. She said that his red thread of fate was unusual. She couldn’t find the other end no matter how long she looks at it, it was endless.

He couldn’t believe what he had heard so he went to another witch that he knew, their answer was the same. That leads him to the conclusion that he is mateless. If there was even a small hope that he has a mate, he was willing to wait no m
