CHAPTER 1

JOSHUA POV.

Joshua! Joshua!

I woke up to my granny screaming my name. It really pisses me off when I hear my name in full I prefer it to be shortened to Josh, anytime I relate this to anyone they see it as been childish but who cares***

I feel incredibly weak this morning, or perhaps more accurately, I feel weak because of the struggle I had with the Rogue last night—wolves that are outcasts or have fled their packs because the Alpha will expel them from the pack if they commit a crime. The wolf will break all links to their previous group and depart if they think they can succeed on their own.

They had to trespass into my territory without a definite reason. I truly believed that yesterday was a lesson for them.Though not this morning, I was looking forward to seeing Elisa, so I was surprised when I eventually got out of bed.

I quickly ran downstairs without minding if my hair was in a mess or not, I had to help my granny with breakfast.

What breakfast items are we having? When I asked, she asked whether I had slept well and smiled. I offered her a reassuring glance as I waited to find out what was for breakfast.

Scrambled eggs and bacon, she finally answered.

I chose to assist her with the food. I don't like it when she gets so worked up over me; I do this all the time. She frequently dreams that something bad will happen to me or that I would be heartbroken, but I reassure her that nothing bad will occur.

I firmly feel that someone was responsible for my parents' deaths in a vehicle accident, even though I was told it was fate.

As usual, Jason and Steve arrived in the meantime, and I'm sure I won't be enjoying my breakfast this morning.

So let me introduce myself now rather than worrying about how my food will be shortened.

Joshua Anderson, a werewolf and dragon mix, is my name. I am the sole offspring of the late Peter Anderson, the dragon king of legendary realms where I currently reside. He is regarded as the most formidable dragon king across all realms, along with Rose Anderson, the moonlight ray pack's Alpha. Before they passed away, I didn't actually get to spend much time with them. I am completely aware of the immense burden that awaits me after they leave, and I have to be prepared to shoulder it all no matter what.

I made sure that lycans, werewolves, and dragons have to coexist happily in a single pack. Humans are not permitted. There is a boundary separating our realm from humanity here on Earth, and only supernatural entities are permitted to enter and exit it.

I'm now 25 years old, and although I was 21 it wasn't really all that special aside from the fact that I greatly wanted to meet my mate but I did find out about the changing and becoming a powerful dragon before my parents passed away.

As of right now, I have not found my mate. Instead, I have fallen in love with Elisa Jackson, an Alpha and deity, whose father also happens to be Ethan Jackson the Alpha of the Crescent Stone Pack. He was so eager for us to tie the knot that he could no longer wait.

As the day went on, I had to visit Elisa to talk about our upcoming wedding, which was two days away. I was very happy looking forward to the ceremony. Every time I say Elisa's name, Jason gets really upset. He thinks she's not the perfect Luna for me, so he expects me to wait for my mate, but how long will that last? Whether he likes her or not is his business, but at least he isn't the one getting married to her.

As I was leaving Granny, I thought I would look for those two rascals, but I found them already gone.

My granny looked at me as if to see whether I would lie to her again and asked, "Where to?" I informed her I was going to meet my Luna, your granddaughter-in-law, with a simple grin.

I changed into my wolf, Jone, because I didn't want to hear what my granny was about to say concerning me going to see Elisa. Then, I rushed into the dense forest in the direction of the crescent stone pack. Even though it wasn't far, I would rather run there than walk.

She was my gorgeous Luna, and as I got there, she grinned. We shared a kiss, but I wanted more. She said she would rather we wait to be married before I could claim her, and I honored that choice since I know how much I value and adore her. The thing that confuses me the most is that she doesn't want anyone to witness our wedding, just the two of us but she still looked into my eyes and gave me this reassuring grin that everything will work out. Because I loved her and didn't want anything to ruin our wonderful time together, I consented to her.

I had to rush home after much thought and conversation about the wedding with Elisa because I hadn't informed that I would be out this late, which would have prevented her from worrying about me.

Granny was sound sleeping when I arrived home. I'm relieved she had to go to bed early since she needed a good night's sleep. I went to my room, showered, and got into my pajamas. I was lying on the bed, unable to sleep. I could not stop thinking about Elisa, and although she had expressed her desire for no one to see our wedding, I was still unable to piece together why she said that. When making the decision to head to the kitchen in search of any snacks to eat, I stayed on the couch and made the decision to watch some news when I eventually fell asleep while eating the snacks.
