LOGINCHAPTER TWO
Sophia woke up with a smile on her face. She had the craziest, weirdest dream ever. And her whole body felt complete and satisfied for some weird reason.
She shifted in her big bed and paused.
Two things were not right.
One she felt naked and two…she looked up slowly, and there in her bed, wrapped in his embrace was a man…a very sexy man.
“Ahhhhhhh-Oof!”
Chris opened his eyes just as his body rolled off the bed.
He was able to save his head from smashing on the floor. He’d never fallen off his bed and he tried to remember what exactly it was that woke him up.
Sophia on the other hand, felt the middle of her legs become sore with pain as she pushed Chris off the bed with her two legs.
Immediately she pulled off the white bedsheet and her eyes went wide with mortification.
If the soreness wasn't the dead give away, then the red stain on her thighs and on the white sheets just told her what she needed to know.
She'd just been raped, in her own bed and in her own house.
“No, no, no…please… no! Nooo!” She yelled and Chris stood up immediately to see a strange woman in his bed, naked, wrapped up in his sheet and sobbing as she stared at her body.
Chris looked around the room and he was very sure he wasn't dreaming nor was he hallucinating.
“Who…who are you?” He asked, his gaze questioning.
Sophia looked up at him with anger boiling in her teary eyes and Chris couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was.
“You psychotic bastard!” She grabbed a pillow and flung it at him. Chris grabbed it just before it made contact with his face.
“What the-” He sucked as he saw the flower vase coming towards his direction. He shielded himself with the pillow as the vase shattered above him.
“How dare you rape me! In my own apartment!” Sophia continued to sob and cry and throw things at Ben who was trying his best to stay alive and avoid the harmful objects she was throwing his way.
“Stop! I didnt-Ah! Fuck!.. I didn't rape you.”
“You fucking liar. I am naked in my bed with the crimson color of my virginity staring at me in the face! Couldn't you look for a bitch ready to sell you her body for a few bucks! I'll kill you today.”
Chris knew that if he wasn't careful, this crazy woman would definitely murder him in his own house.
So as soon as Sophia turned to look for something else to throw at him, he jumped on her, and pinned her down to the bed.
“Oh, you want to rape me again! Let me go!” She yelled, tears flowing down into her hairline.
Chris held her two hands down with one and slammed the other hand on her mouth.
“You'll shut up and listen to me, crazy lady. I don't know you and I've never met you but I didn't rape you. And before you start throwing accusations at me, this is my house. Look around.”
And that's when Sophia realized it.
She didn't have white sheets or a white walls with golden decor. Her room was more girlish.
Chris saw when realizàtion hit her and even he already came to a conclusion on his own.
“Were you here for last night’s party?” He asked and she nodded.
Chris sighed, “You must have come into my bedroom by accident last night but trust me, I didn't rape you. I thought you were my girlfriend…”
The tears began to pile up and fall in full force.
Chris felt guilty pricking his chest and immediately asked, “If I let you go, you need to promise to not throw anything at me.”
Sophia nodded and Chris pulled away, she immediately sat up and pulled the sheet around her.
“I was drunk and you must have been as well because I…”
“Can you leave the room please?” Chris said nothing. She looked up at him with wide eyes, glossy with tears. She'd just lost her virginity to a stranger in her boss’s house. All she wanted was to be far away from here and him. “Please…”
Chris turned around and walked away leaving Sophia to do her thing in the bathroom.
When she was done, she got dressed and left the bedroom, not wanting to face him anymore.

*SOPHIA'S APARTMENT*
"Sophia! You're back–" She looked up at her best friend as she walked in.
Sophia watched as the smile on Kira's face slowly morphed into concern. "Soph, are you okay? Why do you look...?"
"I'm fine, I got drunk. I'm just feeling hungover and a little tired." She said before making her way to her room.
"Okay, I'm heading out. There is left over rice and chicken in the kitchen. Take some pills okay? I know how bad your hangover can get! " Kira called out after her best friend.
Sophia didn't release her tears until she heard the front door slam shut before her body leaned down against the door.
Her heart felt like it was breaking to pieces as gut-wrenching sobs escaped her lips. This was not how she planned to lose my virginity.
She imagined a wedding with the man she loved and giving it to him as a gift on their wedding night, but she ended up losing it to a one night stand at a welcome party, how ironic.
She wrapped herself like a burrito with her blanket and cried herself to sleep.

*THE OFFICE*
"This is our typist and tech guru, Sophia. Beautiful, hard working gem. Sophia met Ben, our new Boss."
Andre was talking but Sophia was not listening. Her whole attention was on the man in front of her.
A cruel slap of fate
Chiseled jaw, brown eyes and dark silky hair.
It's the stranger from yesterday and he's her boss.
Chris!
Her stomach churned at his sight.
CHAPTER 24Chris flamed up when his assistant sent him the headline news. A picture of Sophia, taken at an unfortunate angle, made it seem like she was having an affair with Karlix.Chris knew Karlix. They weren't the best of friends. In fact, they weren't friends, and only cooperated with each other for the sake of their business. Other than that, he had no other reason to interact with him. That was until the headline. His wife. With Karlix Desmond.Sophia's lips parted softly, desperately thinking of what to say. “T—that's not what it looks like. They manipulated it.”“Why the hell are you in a car with him?”Her face went pale. Her eyes fell to the ground; her gaze refused to meet mine. “Look me in the eye, Sophia,” I growled. “I want an answer.”She sighed, tugging on her pajamas. “He gave me a ride,” she squeaked, sparing me a single glance.Rage flashed in his eyes. “You told me a colleague gave you a ride?”“I didn't want to cause trouble,” she stated. “I know he's your busi
CHAPTER 23“Thank you,” Sophia muttered, about to get out of the car. She made sure to drop her a few blocks away from Chris’ mansion. She didn't want to cause trouble. Karlix stopped her before she could. She turned to look at him, confused by his actions. “Here. Take this.” he reached for an umbrella in the back seat and handed it to her.She blinked, a bit skeptical. “Um…I don’t think I can take—”“I can't have you catching a cold,” he stated sternly. “You need it. So, take it.”She glanced at the umbrella before returning her gaze to his. She took it from him, forcing a smile. “Thank you,” she mumbled. She stepped out of the car and opened the umbrella. Then a thought hit her. She knocked softly on Karlix's window. He wound down the windows, one hand on the wheel with his veins popping out. Sophia averted her gaze from his hands, forcing herself not to stare like a creep.“You need something?”“How would I give this back to you?”He smirked. “When we meet again.”Warmth pooled
CHAPTER 22Sophia could barely concentrate the entire day at work. The only thing she pondered was Mary and how she had gotten fired. She knew better than to mistake Chris’ action for kindness. He was just doing what any other boss would do.But it was the way the other employees looked at her that bothered her. Especially the looks she got when she walked past them in hallways. She sat in her cubicle, trying to pretend like she didn't hear a few of her colleagues gossiping about her. Acting like she wasn't even there.“She probably made Mr white fire Mary.”“Watch her become the next supervisor of this department.”“Isn't it obvious? That's been her goal from the start.”She couldn't take it anymore. She stood up from my chair and walked out of the office, without sparing any glance back at them. They laughed, but that was the least of her struggles. She was in a hurry, barely paying attention to where she was going. She bumped into a figure, causing all of his things to fall to the
CHAPTER 21After what felt like forever, Chris returned with a brown bag filled with food. He entered the mansion and made his way to their room.Sophia was fast asleep, the blanket thrown aside. Chris couldn't help but smile to himself while staring at her sleeping figure. He bent down and tapped her cheeks softly, trying to wake her up. She ignored him and turned to the other side. Chris was amused at first, but went ahead and tapped her lightly once more.“Sophia. Sophia,” he called softly. She grumbled. “Come on, Kira. Can we not do—”Sophia paused once her gaze landed on Chris. Then she recalled that she wasn't roommates with Kira anymore. She lives with Chris now.“Oh, sorry about that.”Chris brought out the food. “Get up. You need to eat,” he stated coldly, not acknowledging her apology. She sat up straight, staring at the meal and trying not to drool. “Italian food?” Her eyes lit up in excitement.“Hmhm,” he responded. “Do you not like it?”“I love it,” she beamed. “Thank y
CHAPTER 20Sophia stood to one side, feeling out of place and completely invisible. The couple showered each other with kisses, acting like she wasn't there.“Come eat,” Mia beamed. She pulled Chris by the arm and dragged him towards the dining table. It was a simple dinner, but it still looked delicious. The sight of it made Sophia's stomach grumble. She'd been swamped with work all day and didn't mind if she ate something, but she knew better. “Here you go.” She handed him a spoon. “Take a bite,” she urged, a grin spreading across her lips.Chris took the spoon from her, staring at the food longer than usual. “You don't cook, Mia. So, I just find it hard to believe that you made all these.”Mia gasped dramatically, clutching her chest tightly. “I have been taking a cooking class and wanted to surprise you,” she said, rubbing his shoulders. “After all, I will soon be Mrs white and can't be lacking in any areas.”Their eyes darted towards my direction briefly. Their eyes met for a se
CHAPTER 19The day went by in a blur. Her day was filled with meetings, working on files, and spending most of her time at the lounge printing different copies of documents. She stretched her arms, letting out a yawn. She was the only one left in her cubicle; most of her coworkers had gone home. She got up, gathered her things in her bag, and was about to leave. Then the sharp sound of heels clicking on the marble floor caught her attention. She lifted her gaze and met Mary. “Oh, hi Mary,” she greeted, still packing her things and barely paying any attention to her.Mary tilted her head. “Are you leaving?”Sophia glanced at her briefly before nodding slowly. “Yes. It's five pm already,” she gestured to the table clock on her desk.Mary pouted. “Too bad. I was hoping you could work on these files and submit them on my desk by tomorrow morning. They're needed for tomorrow's meeting.”Sophia’s smile faltered. “But it's five pm.”Mary's face twisted. “Are you saying you can't work on i
CHAPTER 11Sophia felt her heart slamming in her ribs, as she fiddled her fingers. The silence stretched through the room and for a few minutes, none of them said a word to each other. She didn't fail to notice the frustration clearly written on his face. The way his jaw clenched, and despite the
CHAPTER 9Sophia was happy that no one in the company knew about her little night stand with the CEO. She didn't even want to show up to work, but Kira convinced me too. She kept talking about how she shouldn't be bothered by it and everyone has sex. It was just some liberal feminism stuff, she cou
CHAPTER 8Sophia couldn't forget the look on Chris’ face after his parents mentioned that they'd have to get married. She didn't want to get married to him, but if that's what it took to have him present in their baby's life then she was willing to comply. Kiran messaged her arms gently. “You don'
CHAPTER ONE“I'm not interested in attending the party.” Sophia said as calmly as she could but honestly, her creepy manager was starting to get on her nerves. “It's not your choice to make, Soph.-” “Stop calling me that. My name is Sophia.” She glared at him. “Sorry, Sophia. The big boss is com
