Chapter 19_ Bright and Beautiful

Isabella woke up in the morning feeling sour all over. She was yet to open her eyes to see clearly. She moved on the bed, before stretching her hands out to hold Alex.

Isabella's hand landed on the empty space on the bed and it made her realize that Alex wasn't in bed. Isabella's eyes sprang open immediately.

Her heart thumped loudly inside her chest. "Where is he?" She asked herself, sitting upright and clutching on to the bedsheets.

She wrapped the sheets around her body and stood up. Isabella managed to walk to.the wardrobe where she picked out one of Alex's shirts and wore it.

The T-shirt was bigger, and it covered her body down to her knees. Isabella already expected it. It wasn't her first time wearing his clothes.

She didn't bother to wear any underwear because she still felt sour. She just left the bedroom to find him.

Upon arriving outside the bedroom, the delicious smell of food hit her nose. Isabella needed no one to tell her that Alex was busy in the kitchen cooking.
