Caroline’s POV

“Thank you,” I said to the taxi driver after paying and got out of the car.

I took a deep breath when I saw the beautiful garden in front of me. the trees, flowers, and the stone path were bringing back the beautiful memories from my childhood. The sky was clear and the birds chirping could be here in the silent surrounding. People were walking and sitting around but the environment was peaceful, making a smile stretch on my lips.

“I see you love this place.” I heard Samael’s voice and nodded at him without looking at him.

“I do, it’s the garden I use to visit with my parents whenever we came here. It has a lot of memories, good memories.” I don’t know why I told him that, but I just felt like sharing. When I looked at him, he just smiled at me softly with a knowing look.
