Chapter Twenty-Seven

Zaryn

“Wow!” I clapped repeatedly as I made my way into the room. I had heard Liane yelling and I rushed to find out why, but when I got there the scenery made me stand by the corner to watch with a wide smile of anticipation. I was disappointed that Liane had not ripped Tasyra's belly open and dragged that abomination of a child out of it, but how she spoke to Tasyra made me happy. I loved the way she made Tasyra tremble in fear, I loved that Tasyra was made to beg every time, I loved how she had torn Tasyra's skin with the knife and it only took self-control for me not to rush to Liane's hands and push the knife into Tasyra's gut.

‘Zaryn!” Liane's cornflower blue eyes lit up as she made her way to the table and took a sip of her lemon tea.

“Does the tea boost your confidence!” I asked her in admiration

“Try it and see,” she said as she dropped the cup on the table. She stood up and walked towards me. “ Why did you come so early today? Did you miss your skincare routine,” she perked
