I woke up before my alarm would go off, I didn't want to hear the disturbing noise, even though, I was the one who set it.

I checked the time, 6:00 AM.

"Maybe, I should sleep, a little...I don't even feel like going to school, today." I said to myself.

"Isabelle.., Isabelle!." Mrs. Stanley called my name.

I expected that, I had two alarms in this house, my machine alarm and my human alarm...., that would be Mrs. Stanley, my guardian.

I have known for a long time now, right from when I was 3, I never got the chance to see my parents.

All I know is that they were killed by enemies.

Well, Mrs. Stanley has tried over the years to fill that gap and I think it's working because I have gotten so used to her.

She's the basic definition of the word, nice.

She was already getting old, she would clocking 67, this year so I guess very soon, it will just be me and Carly.

"Good Morning." I greeted her as she walked into my room.

"You are up early?." 

"Surprising, isn't it?."

"You shouldn't stress yourself, I will make breakfast." I led her out of the room.

"You should stop pampering me, you have to prepare for school, I'm 66 not 80."

"You are over 50."

"So?, I haven't even started walking with the aid of a walking stick yet."

"More reason, why you shouldn't stress your legs."

"I'm still going to take care of you whether you like it or not, I owe you."

"You don't owe me anything, I'm the one who owes you, I made a promise to your parents."

"I know..., Anyways, what would you like to eat?."

"Just make me a sandwich then go, get ready for school, Trina is coming over later with her dad."

"Guys are jerks so why bother." I asserted.

"That sounds stressful."

I was already in my room when I heard Carly's voice downstairs, she was having a small chit chat with Mrs. Stanley.

"Who's ready for Senior year?!." She squealed in excitement.

I turned to look at my brunette bestfriend.

Carly has been my bestfriend since forever, even more than a bestfriend, she's a sister, it was hard for me to break my walls so I could let her in, her sharp tongue actually fought off those bullies from me.

She has been pestering my laugh to do the deed with the school hottest bad boy who basically has zero interest in the female gender but he's obviously not gay.

"I'm here but that's because I'm going to be leaving for college soon and stop seeing our annoying classmates."

"Yeah, about that...have you thought of the school yet?."

"I don't know...I'm thinking maybe NYU, I'm not sure I will be able to afford Ivy League...."

"Then apply for a bloody scholarship..." She suggested.

"I don't know...Carly..let's just discuss something else."

"Make up your mind first because I'm going to which ever school you choose." 

I rolled my eyes at her, "You can't be serious."

"Oh, you will know very soon." She gave me her signature evil smirk.

"So what are your plans for this year?." I inquired.

"Ummm...duh.. get laid by one of the hottest guys in school."

"I got my eyes on Aiden."

"Aiden?, Kyle's bestfriend?."

"Yeah, he's second to the hottest in their group, I would have considered Kyle but he would be a hard nut to crack besides I don't want to be among the list of the girls that he has given savage replies."

"You forgot to add the fact that he has a crazy girlfriend." I pointed out.

"Kaylee?, Oh, please, you obviously know I can handle bitches like her and stop acting as if you can't either, also, their relationship is shaky, just a little breeze can scatter it, I wonder how a queen bee can suffer from unrequited love" She replied.

"I know that but she hasn't crossed my path so why should I bother and nobody is above rejection."

"By the way, Aiden has a girlfriend as well, almost every guy in their group mysteriously has a girlfriend." 

"I know, right, by the way, I got something to tell you...so one of my brother's college friends almost did the deed last night."

" A college guy?, Your brother would have murdered you and him." I laughed.

"I know, that's why we couldn't do it, he can be so overprotective sometimes."

"He only does that because he knows you are a wild fire that pretty hard to extinguish."

"So, you think we are going to get lucky this year for our love life?."

"I don't know Carly, this is our last year, we might as well continue behaving like the good girls we have always been or decide to activate the bad girl mode that nobody has ever seen." I smiled.

"I choose the latter."

We laughed, whichever guy, I don't care as long as he's not a nerd, I'm good.

Almost every guy is on my wanna be boyfriend list except him, of course, there was no hope going there, not even in the world of fantasy.

It seemed so strange to me, how come these bad boys actually have girlfriends that they care about so much except Kyle, ofcourse, he doesn't give two shits about Kaylee.

I grabbed my bag and walked to my mirror, I observed my outfit, a black pinafore on top of a white top, pretty cool.

I applied my waterproof mascara and pulled Carly out of the room.

"Bye, mum." I waved at Mrs. Stanley and she gave me a weak smile.

"Have a nice day, my darling." She blew kisses at me and dramatically caught them and we laughed.

I got into Carly's jeep and she zoomed off to Ivory High.
