"I feel connected to her in some way," he said and I looked at him, he had a small singe of happiness hiding behind those ugly feelings. It was almost unnoticeable.

"Thank you, Sierra, for being here," he said and I nodded. "It's no biggie as long as you stay here too," I said reassuringly and he got the plate and put it on my lap.

"Eat it," he said with a bit of a plea in his voice.

I decided to eat it out of appreciation.

"One day, I'll repay you with something greater," he said plainly. His scent had gone back to nothing.

I looked at his face as he looked to the floor and noticed that the wounds had started healing but how exactly do I bring back his life? He told me a while ago not to get involved but I am not going to sit back and watch his heart being stabbed over and over again.
