Chapter 17

I stormed into my hotel room, that meeting was almost turning into a battle ground. I can't believe that's the guy I let rule all the werewolves. I clenched my fists trying to prevent myself from doing something I'll regret later.

If only I could turn back time and go to that tournament, I would whoop his ass much harder but I can't travel back in time. I don't even have my special power yet because my mate still hasn't accepted me.

I can't stand this underestimation from even the Alphas that are below me.

"Honey?" I heard my mom's voice and I saw her already at the door to me room where I was seated on the bed.

"Yes, mom," I answered and she smiled sweetly. "I just wanted to see that you were okay. Don't let those bastards get to you," she said as she sat next to me.

For some reason, my mom is always by my side no matter what happens. She didn't leave me even when dad left. She didn't grieve alone. She is so considerate.

"Mom, have you eaten yet?" I asked and she responded no.
