CHAPTER 6

》HANS CALIX P.O.V.《

I sat on the couch, watching my Summer sleep.

Her name suits her perfectly—she's like a warm breeze on a summer morning.

I received a call from my office.

“I want you to handle that for me. I’m taking the day off,” I said through the phone.

“Boss, the meeting's already finished. They’re waiting for you,” my assistant replied.

“Hm…” I heard Summer let out a soft sound as she stretched, sunlight falling gently across her face.

She must've been stirred by the noise.

“Boss?” my assistant repeated.

I couldn’t help but smirk as Summer suddenly sat up in bed.

One strap of her nightgown had slipped off her shoulder.

Even half-asleep, she looked irresistibly captivating.

I didn’t bother answering my assistant. I ended the call immediately.

I walked over to this gorgeous lady in front of me.

But the closer I got, the farther she moved—until her back met the headboard.

"W-Wag ka lalapit." Nauutal nitong saad.

Natatawa talaga ako kapag nakikita ko ang ganito niyang reaksyon.

I immediately walked up to her and adjusted the strap that had slipped off her shoulder—her chest was slightly exposed.

Looks like nightgowns will become my new favorite. I feel insane whenever she wears something like this.

"Are you hungry? Do you want to eat?" I asked softly, brushing the hair from her face.

She didn’t reply, only stared at me with fear in her eyes.

“I’ve informed your professor that you’ll be absent for a week.” She flinched at my words. I couldn't help but smirk again.

Kaagad itong lumapit sa akin at dumampi ang maliliit niyang palad sa braso ko.

"B-Bawal ako umabsent. May quiz kami, at kailangan kong gawin yung thesis namin. Malapit na end of 2nd semester, b-baka bumagsak ako." Nauutal nitong saad sa akin na para bang nahihiya pa rin sa akin.

I felt a rush of joy in my chest, just seeing her like this every morning. It’s like I’m losing my mind.

Even the slightest touch from her makes me go insane with happiness—because she rarely touches me.

I wish she were more clingy with me.

"Don’t worry about that, I’ll take care of that… hmm,” I said sweetly while I kissing her soft cheek.

“I don’t really know much about women’s clothes or your size, honestly. But I’ve seen some girls wearing their boyfriend’s shirt. You can use mine—they’re in the closet. Go clean yourself up while I prepare your breakfast, okay?” I said to her, and she simply nodded with her eyes shut tight.

Ang cute niya talaga, gusto ko siya pang-gigilan.

I stepped out of the room and made sure to lock it.

She might try to escape.

I headed to the kitchen. I don’t have many maids in this mansion—just one, who comes every Saturday to clean the house.

I prepared a glass of milk she could have for breakfast and some food.

She needs to absent for now. She has to adjust to my home until she gets used to everything.

Well honestly, I can easily call her professor and make all her subjects to be passed. That way, she won’t have to worry about anything else—just me.

Nang maihanda ko na lahat ng niluto ko ay umakyat na muli ako sa kwarto.

Sa pagbukas ko ay tila nanigas ang pagkatao.

I’m really going insane because of this lady.

I put the tray on the side table.

Nakaupo siya sa kama habang pinupunasan niya ang buhok niya gamit ang tuwalya ko.

She was wearing my oversized white polo, paired with black cycling.

“Are you trying to seduce me? Because if you are... you’ve succeeded,” I said, unable to resist letting my hand drift to her smooth thighs.

“I-I didn’t,” she stammered, pushing my hand away from her thighs.

I chuckled at her reaction and instead I grabbed the towel from her head, pulling out the hairdryer.

I gently dried her long hair, letting the heat brush through her strands.

“Later, I need to leave. I’ll be back by six afternoon—wait for me here,” I said as I continued drying her hair.

She didn’t respond. She stayed quiet. I saw the fear in her eyes.

When I finished drying her hair, I picked up the tray and tried to feed her—but she turned her face away.

“I-I can feed myself,” she said.

Patience slipping, I gripped her jaw firmly, forcing her mouth open and feeding her the food myself.

“Is it good, darling? I cooked that just for you,” I smiled.

She winced from my grip—but I didn’t care.

Once she stopped resisting, I released her jaw, and she leaned forward on her own to take the next bite.

“Drink this. You need strength… hmm,” I said sweetly, and she nodded.

Even when afraid, she looks so adorably fragile.

Everything suits her—no matter what she wears.

“I like it when you’re obedient,” I murmured, voice low and possessive. “Stay that way, and I’ll be gentle on you… But if you beg for pain—don’t expect me to hold back.”

I might’ve held her jaw a bit too tightly… her cheek turned red.
