HER PICTURE

       I couldn’t avoid his eyes for long. I peeked up at him to find shock, confusion and concern flit in his eyes.

“why?” he asked pulling his invisible mask on making it hell of a lot harder to figure out what he really is thinking. I shrugged, when I realized he was waiting for an answer. I would have answered him if I knew the reason myself. He shook his head in disbelief and guided me towards our destination. I was standing right before the door, my hands shook as I reached for the door know. I let the cold metal bite into my skin, and I tried my best to steady my breathe.

“We should go back” I can hardly hear Liam’s anxious voice over my frantic heart beat.

“No” I whispered, pushing the door open. The cold air creeped up my skin making it harder for me to gasp in oxygen. I pried my eyes open. Heavy drops of rain drops were pelting the glass bridge. I could hear the muffled thuds echoing in my ears. I looked up at the pitch black sky
