The Heartless Alpha & the Warrior's Daughter

My name is Isabella Clarke, I'm 17 years old and the daughter of the well known Victor Varges. My father is a powerfull Lord and one of the oldest Dragons alive. My twin Brothers James and Matthew are 29 years old pure blood dragons and first class Majors of fathers Unit. 10 years after their mother died my dad married my mom. With 14 years I decided to join the military .I took my mother's name because I didn't want to be recognised as my father's dautger and be threated differently I want to succeed on my own. I just finish the Training for the sergeant and am ready to join a unit. Life is hard , the war seems to never end. The Berserkers came 15 years ago and since then the World is on fire, they are smart and kill everyone and everything that comes their way. We keep them at bay but it just seems we can't get rid of them, they keep coming und killing no matter how much we kill and we have no idea where they come from or who created them. I never seen one in person but I saw pictures of these ugly beasts. They look a bit like shaved and deformed lycans. But our military works with the wolfs and they never found any conectins so we still have no idea.

Today is a special day for me, I'm going to the Battles Castle. This is the place where all young Sergeants meet, fight each other and show their skills. A lot of Alphas, Betas and Majors will be there watching and searching for new recruits. The elder council send 6 Lords to judge the fighters and their skills, to decide which one is worth the Elite, which one is good enough for the ordinary military and which should be kicked out. To be honest I'm not scared to be kicked out, I trained with my brothers long before I decided to join them officially. Every 14 years old can join a booth camp for one year, if you get through you will be transferred to the academy for 2 years and then comes the Battle Castle. I'm confident , I know I have skills, and thanks to my dad I was raised strict, he loves and lives the discipline of the military and is really proud of me. My mom on the other side is crazy worried und don't want me to go. She is old fashioned and thinks it would be the best if I stay home and attempt the Blood moon Ball and search for my mate. So the good old' the women should stay at home do the homework and raise the kinds' story. The Ball is something we kind of stole from the wolfs, we don't really need it, but it is fun and some distraction from all the bad that's happening. The wolfs can find their mate only on the Blood moon , we can recognize our mate as soon as we turn 18, but most wait years some even decades before they find one another . I really hope I will find my mate but I don't want to sit around and wait for a man to rescue me, I want to help especially if I can ! She still don't understand why I want to be a Soilder and not pick something in the medicine, she just don't get how it feels, how the power within me is screaming to be let out. We dragons are fast, strong and some even have powers but there are special pure bloods that can turn themselves into monstrous beast with wings. Yes right I'm mean the real fairytale dragons that can create hurricans or fire with their mouth. But those are really rare and most of them are in the eldest council , that means they are other 300 hundred years old, I would love to meet one of them. They are our rulers but they try to not interfer to much that's what the Lords and Alphas are for. Back to me , I am really fast and strong und I would like to think even smarter and more mature that a lot of others my age. I have no special abilities since I'm still 17. I have long ash blond hair , my eyes are a bright green and I have an average figure. Although I train a lot I don't have visible muscles like boys, but I still can kick their ass that's for sure. The Boys at the academy didn't like me much and even bullied me , told me I was naive or boring or that I should stay at home and be someones wife instead of 'playing war' . It was mostly because I an THAT good, although i am 'just a girl'. Another point was that I sure talked a lot about Soulmates , they said I just should get me someone to fuck so I will stop being so boring. But I'm not the type for just playing around , I'm just 17 and I really want my first time with someone special. Even if I don't find my mate soon enough I sill want love though, or at least some kind of connection to the person. I mean I know I might die in the war but at least I will have a pure soul. First of all I want go through the Battles!! I would love to join some of the Elite Units be on the team of one of the best. There are three big groups. The Asher Clan with Marcus Borber as the Alpha, The Neros Clan with Edwin Nero in the leads and the biggest and most feard The Night Shadows with Jesse Isaacs as the Alpha. There are a lot more teams but I'm not interested in one of the other, I want to be in one of the Elite Units and I will give everything on the Battles to impress. And I am pretty sure at least one of them will see and accept me. I am strang , I know how to fight and being smart than the most recruits I had to find other advantages to win. Most didn't accept me and despite me for what I am ,but that does not stop me I made up my mind and I will never back down or give up!

They soon gona know and respect my Name , I will be one of the best and be in the front row at the war. I want to proof my mom wrong and make my father proud with my success. But first off all I want to help stop this madness, we lost enough people I want to fight with the ones that have the most potential to end this War.

I was kicked out of my thoughts when my alarm goes off. It's 5 in the morning , but I already awake for over 2 hours because I'm just to exited. I got up and rushed to the bathroom to shower, brush my teeth and dress properly. As I step in my big shower I left the warm water pour down on me for a bit to calm me a little. After 30 minutes I'm out of the shower and dressed in stretching black pants a bright red tanktop, my black leather jacket and my black boots. I put my long hair in a strict and high ponytail and look my self up and down in the mirror just when there is a nock on my door. " Honey breakfast is ready and your family awaits you." The housekeeper Beth calls through the closed door." I'm coming ,nena." I like to think of Beth as a second mother because she was always there for me and her dauther Chelsea and I are best friends and the exact same age , she was born a day after me and we grew up together like sisters. I checked my packed bag, that I packed days ago a last time and rushed down the stairs and into the big dinning room. As soon as I stepped inside all eyes were on me. My brothers had a big smile on their Faces , my father looked like he was about to jump in excitement, Chelsea and Beth grinned and my friend winked at me. Only person at the table that wasn't happy was my Mom Eleanor. She looked like she was about to cry, I got to her side and gave her a big hug from behind, kissing her cheek and whisper in her ear Lound enough for everyone to hear : " I'll be fine mom, I promise and after the war I will give you as many grandkids as you want since none of my brothers are capable of holding on to a woman for longer than a week" I said with a big smile, looking right in to her beautiful dark, almost black eyes . Through the tearful eyes her face lit up a little she smiles weakly and says " I want 3 grandkids of you before this decade is over, and I will not take a no for an answer, since your brothers are indeed not capable of giving me some you have to step in their place!" she says in a seriousbut amused tone " Hey!!" James and Matthew speak at the same time. " Quite, both of you, let's eat I'm starving . Sit down Princess" my father says with a small smile , clearly amused by our nonsense. We eat in silence like always just enjoying each others company. And then it's time to leave! My whole family came out to my car with me , all now looking a bid sad and it ache my heart. I run up to nena Beth and hug her , she wishes me luck we kiss each other and before I can answer Chels jumps on my back " I will miss you sis. Please come back to me and promise you will text and call as often as you get your Phone. And don't forget to kick their asses !" I couldn't stop but burst out into a loud laughter, turn around and squeeze her " I will , I promise Chels!". My brothers don't bother hugging me instead each of them Punch me on each side of my back and mumble something like be carefull or something like that, I didn't quite understand, but that was more than I expected they are not the emotional type of people. My father standing there as proud as a man could be " Are you sure you want to drive there on you own?" " Dad I didn't change my last name to walk hand in hand with you, they will Immediately know somethings fishy " I said with a smile and a wink. He laughs out loud " OK OK , just wanted to make sure. Give your old man a damn hug for God's sake I have never been more proud and happy." We exchange a tight hug then he turned to the others with a single tear in his eye " If one of you dares to say something about what just happened, I will not hesitate and kill you" he said with an arrogant smile on his face . Everyone burst out laughing, everyone exept mom she stands there and try her best not to start cry her hands on her mouth to hold the sobs ."Mom" I say in a quite voice rush to her side hug her and caress her back gently when I hear her sob." Please don't cry, I will be fine I promise. I am my father's dautger ! Even if no one knows , everyone will be sorry if the cross my way you know that." Her grip an my tightened as she burry her nose in my neck and speak so quietly I almost didn't hear " I know that, and that's what I am worried about , you are to smart for your own sake, you will eventually get your self in trouble even before you get to the war. And I saw your brothers bruises after each training back then, the looked like they lost a fight against a huge bear. Please be careful and come back to me in one piece!" I had to hold my breath to not start crying myself." Don't worry mom , even I know when to step back, I will be careful and won't mess around . I will be the good girl, that you love and be the great warrior that daddy raised. And If I get myself in trouble I will sneak out on that like my brothers taught me!". Mom and the boys chuckled lightly and I let go of her giving her a big kiss on her cheek.

After another round of goodbyes I get in my car and drive down the road looking in the small mirror at my lovely family by the gates. I have to focus now, it's a two hours ride to the ship that will bring me to The Castle. Let's hope I can keep my promises. But if something goes wrong ,my dad will be there he is one of the Lords the council sends to judge and he will back me up or get me out if needed. He told me in his office a few days back and also that as much as he admire my decision he won't be mad at me for backing down and change my mind. That is something I really appreciate in him, he never pushed me nor did he ever interfer in my decisions .
