Trust me, he is no human

I cleaned my eyes and pinched my skin to see if it was a dream, but it wasn't. It was truly Ryan, his dark curly hair and his pink lips, the chain on his neck, and the favorite thing I like about him, his mode of dressing. He had everything Intact as usual.

But wait, what is he doing here? Is he a werewolf, or a Lycan?

He was walking through the woods with a gun in his hands. I wondered what he is using the gun to do.

But what if he is a hunter, and that's the reason no one is allowed to pass through the gate?

It was getting late already, the moon was already coming out. I don't know if I should meet him, or if I should run away from him.

But what if this is my chance, a chance for him to finally notice me?

A part of me wants to meet him, and another part of me wants to run.

He is someone I know, and I can't run away from him. And If I meet him, we would be together.

So I'm left with no choice but to listen to the part of me that wants to meet him.

But I have one problem, there's no way I can climb the gate which has wires around it.

I looked around to see if I could get anything that will help me, but there wasn't. Just then, I had the thought of transforming. If I transform I would be able to climb through, so it's what I'm going to do.

I took a deep breath and slowly I was transforming. My bones began to crack, my veins began to change color. I fell on the ground and groaned, I howled and that was when I knew I was fully transformed.

My howl caught Ryan's attention, and he was looking around the woods.

Without thinking twice, I began to climb the gates, It wasn't too high, so In a minute I would be down.

But as I got to the middle, someone began to pull me down. I looked to see who it was, and I was shocked when I noticed it was a guard.

He kept dragging me and didn't care if I might get hurt.

After successfully pulling me down, I stood and tried to run, but something sharp pierced my skin.

I felt dizzy until I passed out.

**

The rays of the sun shined brightly, and I was able to feel it. I tried stretching my hands, but I wasn't able to.

I opened my eyes, at first everything was blurry, and when l was finally able to see clearly, I found out that my hands were tied. I tried moving my legs, but it was also tied.

I looked around and saw I was in an empty room. I and the chair I was tied to, were the only thing inside the room.

I tried recalling what happened yesterday, and why I'm being tied to a chair, but the only thing I could remember was when a sharp object was pierced into my skin. I tried remembering what happened before then, but I couldn't just. And due to that, I develop a headache.

But there was one thing left for me to do, one thing a person would do if he or she is in my shoes.

Shouting for help; That's what I have to do. I'm tied to a chair In an empty room, I can barely remember what happened to me. So this is the one thing I should do.

I shouted for help three times, but I got no response from anyone. I tried again, this timer screaming at the top of my voice, but still no response from anyone.

I'm not the kind of person who gives easily, so I kept on shouting, hoping that someone would hear.

I didn't get any response, so I gave up.

A lot of thoughts filled my mind. Thoughts like, what if I was kidnapped? What if I'm just dreaming?, What if I'm in heaven?

But I can't be tied to a chair in heaven, so where I'm I?

I became worried, my palms were sweaty. My face was covered with sweat, due to the heat.

I'm sure my parents will be worried about me, I thought, and that was when I remembered everything that happened.

I remembered seeing Ryan, climbing the gate and a guard pulling me down. I remembered there was a warning, which I read but heed to.

So now I get what happened to me, so maybe I deserve to be here. Because I was disobedient, but it wasn't my fault, I was just curious.

And just when I lost all hope, the door opened revealing a guard. He was wearing armor, and a sword was in his hands.

I sighed knowing that there was still hope. The guard looked familiar, or was he the one that pulled me down?

"Were you the one that pulled me down last night?"I asked, not minding the fact he is a guard.

He walked in my direction and began to untie y the ropes that were tied to me.

I smiled as he untied it. Not because I'm finally going to be free, or because he is a handsome guard, but because it tickles, the ropes tickle.

The guard noticed I was smiling, so he stopped untying it to see what I was going to do next.

I knew he wanted me to beg. He frowned and stayed in that position waiting for me to beg him to continue.

At first, I wanted him to remain like that for hours, but I gave it a second thought and saw it wasn't going to be of benefit for the both of us.

I swallowed my pride"I'm sorry for smiling, can you please continue with that"I pleaded.

He chuckled and continued, and I also continued smiling.

**

The guard and I walked out of the room. "Where are you taking me to now that I'm out of my prison?"I asked.

"And who told you you're out of your prison? It's not over yet. You disobeyed the king's orders, so you have to face him."He replied.

"Please do not take me to him."I pleaded.

"I'm sorry, but it's what I'm told to do."He said.

Lycan kings are more powerful than Alpha kings. They have greater strength and are more feared by people. I don't want to face him because I don't want to have anything to do with him.

My parents talk about him a lot, how he fought with various alpha packs and rogues. My father says he is strong and was well-trained by his late father.

They said he has killed more than one member of the pack because they disobeyed him.

"I don't want him to kill me."I panicked.

The guard looked at me and saw the innocence in my eyes. I pretend to feel remorse about my offense so that the person I'm using it on would pity me.

I mostly use it for my father and it works on him every time, but this guard, I'm not sure he is touched by it.

"I'm sorry, but I have no choice."He said.

I was pained that I couldn't use it on him. He is a cold-hearted guard, and I'm sure he was trained to be like that.

After enough walking, we got to the king's chamber, and the guard threw me on the floor.

I couldn't look into the king's eye, so I stared at the floor.

"You may leave, "The King said to the guard.

The door opened and closed, and I was now left alone with the so-called fearless king.

"Look at me."He said with his cold voice, which echoed.

Slowly, I raised my head. I looked around his chamber to be sure if truly we were alone, and truly we were alone.

I looked at him."Stand up" He said and I stood up.

"I won't do anything to you 'cause you are new here. You've been part of this pack for so long, but you just settled in yesterday."He said.

"You know my parents?"I asked.

"Yes, I do. Your grandfather was once my guard, and your father was very loyal to me. I don't know much about your mother, but one thing I know about her is that she once fought to protect this pack. So I'm going to warn you not ever try passing through that gate, if you disobey me again, you will be punished."He warned.

"I've heard you, but the part about my mother fighting for the pack is what I don't understand, can you please explain?"I asked.

"I guess your mother didn't tell you. Our pack was attacked by Rogues."He paused then continued"I'm sure you know about it, or don't you?"

"I know who they are. I've read about them in a lot of books."I replied.

"Good. When they attacked, your mother stood to fight them. She believed in the saying 'what a man can do, a woman can do better'. She was the only female warrior, and she fought harder than the men. I respected her for that, I gave her the chance to ask for anything she wanted, and the only thing she asked for was to be with your father."He said.

And it was now clear to me, but why didn't she tell me about this?

"But why can't anyone pass through the gate?"I asked.

"Because it's the boundary between the Rogues and us"He replied.

"But I saw a guy there. I knew the guy from Highschool, he was my crush but he didn't notice me throughout my years In high school. So what will a human be doing there?"I asked.

"Trust me, he is no human. He is either a rogue or another Lycan that has come to spy on us."He replied, and I was dumbfounded.
