CHAPTER 24- Madeline's Murderer

Erica's POV

"We will miss you, Aila."

My co-janitresses hugged me tightly for the last time. I resigned today. It was for my own good.

"I'll pay a visit. And besides, we can still hang out some times," I said as we let go of our hug. They were in a circle form in front of me, all staring at me sadly. "Thank you, guys." For the first and last time as Aila Miller, I smiled to them.

"Take care, girl," said Anne. I just nodded to them before I leave the janitors quarters. I'm gonna miss them. I only spent a coouple of months with them but I had a great time. And because of them, I realized one thing... that I can be truely happy with those people who really accepts me even though they don't have the riches.

As I was walking by the lounge area, someone held me by the arm and grabbed me to an empty meeting room. When I finally saw who it was, I rolled my eyes. Zoe.

"I know you're resigning but don't tell to anyone my secret. Okay?" she uttered firmly, warning me.
