“I cannot believe you let him put his filthy hands on you.” Zoey clicked her tongue, shaking her head as she tore into a flaming hot wing like it had personally wronged her.

Apparently, she’d swung by the same restaurant I’d been craving wings from earlier, on her way to the hospital, knowing how much I loved those flaming hot wings.

Only to walk in on the whole messy Mason situation, and then going full action-hero-meets-wildcat mode on him. Hair grabbing. Groin kicking. She even bit him on the arm.

Poor guy barely had a second to defend himself before my colleagues pulled her off. Mason had then stumbled back, clutching both his groin and his freshly branded bite mark, muttering that we’d hear from him soon before limping away like the wounded villain that he was.
